Lack of improvement from 2020

Does anybody else feel like this this game did pretty much nothing to improve from the previous year. I put 684 hours into 2020 and currently sitting at 247 on 2021. And I'd say they didn't do as much as they said they would do. Franchise mode 0 changes, RTTS got even worse, MTO has potential but is still poorly designed. The statium creator is kind of awful, no advertisements on the walls or even distance markings. The homemade statiums always look trash. But nothing makes me more displeased then the play profile pictures or lack there of upon the trade of a player. To see half of your players with a real shot profile pic and half as close ups of their 3d animations is not clean at all. Sometimes the game accidentally keeps the profile pic for a game or two and it looks great. I mean is it really that hard for them to update the player profile pictures. I swear this feels like the same game.

I play offline franchise, I like how the hitting feels, pitching is pretty good, and the overall core of the gameplay is nice, but the fielding needs improvement, with errors on routine plays and throws that happen way too much… Also the post game replay’s got utterly butchered, I don’t even bother recording it anymore and saving it’s so bad, not sure why they changed that … Overall it’s hard to say which game is better 20 or 21, because not all patches have been competed in 21 and I’m sure it will improve some before it’s all said and done…

Yeah its like half the staff wasnt at work for 6 months last year,or somethin.

Funny how people complain about no advertisements on the walls, yet I remember a time when advertisement wasn’t everywhere; those were sweet times for sure. We’ll soon have them on uniforms too, yuk.

Have you forgotten we've been dealing with a pandemic since March of 2020?
Most of the development team has been working from home and only recently have been allowed to return to the offices.
Also...I don't know what a statium is....but the stadiums look true to their real life counterpart

I mean from an offline perspective, yeah no sports franchise ever updates it enough year to year. In terms of online gameplay for me though, I do feel a lot different then 2020 because I can actually pitch.

The difference is my excuses are valid. You might not think they are but they really are. If you think they're not working while at home or are simply sitting there laughing at us while we complain then you're a little mistaken
