I can't stand this game

You are so right. You've played over 100 online games, that's plenty to form a valid opinion. I've played for 2 years, still the same. The lack of hitting and scoring makes the game boring, frustrating and just sucks. I can somewhat occasionally hit if I'm below pennant race, but every time I get over 500 rating, I can't hit, I literally can't even see the pitch. Breaking balls drop 3 ft. 95 mph fastball seem 105. I can't pitch, walk or hit batters almost always followed by a bomb. I actually hit a perfect/perfect for a foul ball down the line. How is that perfect? This game sucks and I'm sick of hoping I can keep my batters averages over .200, and btw, opening packs is just a waste of time, how many uniforms and stupid useless equipment do I have to hoard?
I agree totally about the hitting... I'm between pennant race and wild card... in this area I struggle with hitting...hrs are too easy to hit and singles are hard as fuk to get....I agree bout the 3ft breaks in pitches. I tried playing again tonight and I lose 3 or 4 games and win 2, barely....its not fun to lose over and over. I didn't uninstall game like I said but I'm getting there. The hitting part of this GAME is garbage imo...

You realize if they make hitting easier, instead of losing 3-2, you’ll lose 12-5 and probably be even angrier? Even without the contact swing OP meta this year, you can hit HRs on pitches from the dirt to over your head. When you run into a great hitter, you can’t pitch anything they don’t destroy. Imagine if they make it easier…

Do you use BP? Have a monitor, Drop your PCI?

Don't get mad if you're posting, obviously reacing out for help and assume you're going to get hate.
Try Precision Rings of it's PCI issues. It helps me a lot.
I'm actually content playing Offline only but really want to see if my pitching translates to success vs. human toxic mf's, lol.
Just remember that you did get to that many wins, and you're new.

monitor: as in a computer monitor... as in, if you are playing on a tv you're going to have a bad time because of input lag ( I learned this and got a monitor the second week I had the game and it helped tremendously).drop your pci meaning are you slamming it down and causing a lot of popups because the ball goes to the very top of your pci because you put it down too far?

I just played offline conquest on all star and scored 10 runs. I can score 3,4,5+ runs online on AS and HOF. That won't happen every game but very do-able. Just gotta switch cameras, PCI , etc.

I been playing online since 2017 and my hitting is as good as it is going to get. I do not use the practice mode, to me it is a waste of time . I just want to play and have fun. i did get to CS in 2017 but did not play online in 2018 with that grind. 19 mostly played events and offline. 20 was a little of everything. 21 i got to the 40 wins in RS season 1. the other season got the 10 wins for inning programs. I swing at to many pitches out of the zone. I pitch pretty well. My record is about 5 games over 500 in RS this year. Just have fun.

It’s been nice to take a few days off of playing after I got to 650 and maxed out the daily moments. Recharge and get ready for the 4th inning.
Thats what I did. I missed out on the last few days of the daily moments but I already had Britton so I didn't care

This game is garbage and it starts at the very top of this studio as for the reasons why. Sharp decline in gameplay since 2017. Im convinced they have not the slightest of what they are doing with game play and they try to cover it with content. This game is hardly playable.

The problem with hitting in this game is that patience and pitch selection are rarely rewarded. Simply being good at moving the PCI around and swinging at everything is always rewarded. So waiting on good pitches and nailing a fat one with perfect timing all too often leads to at”em balls but move that pci fast enough to that slider at your laces and deposit it for a physics be damned opposite field unrealistic home run.

If you say this game is good your lying. Yesterday when Robert Flores said he used contact swing all the SDs guys looked like they had been smacked in the face. The game is so broken in hitting, defensive urgency or lack of, servers and that’s three issues. They are proving that they as a studio are inept at providing a truly great product

Yes I practice but not on higher difficulty just veteran

Yes I fricken hit fly balls....rarely I hit 10 ft high liners to the outfield

I square up balls right down the middle for mid field fly ball outs....but I'll lace a low and away for a bomb...weird

Do you take the rings off when pitching? I don't mind them while batting but can't use them after because my fielders won't react to any inputs.
No. I broke one taking it off to play NHL, lol.
It's a serious adjustment on defense, but actually makes me focus more while pitching.
You have to be on your toes or your fielding can suffer because of the limited movement.
They wear out after awhile as I found myself dropping the PCI again, so I really need them atm.I have one controller with precision ring and one without. I then switch controllers every half inning so that I only play the field without the ring. Just can’t get to balls in the gap with the rings on. It sounds like it would be a hassle but it is really easy to do. Plus my hands get a little sweaty and getting a fresh controller each half inning is kind of nice.
