This is funny. You lose at conquest on veteran but win on hall of fame and because of that the game doesn't play right and anyone that speaks against that is a SDS employee? If you are losing to the AI in a 3 inning game on veteran you are doing something wrong. I'm not that great of a player and to be honest, in a steal fans game, I don't even remember the last time I even gave up a run let alone a loss. I have lost in the past due to me not waiting for a pitch to hit but it's pretty rare.

Nobody loses in conquest except maybe the OP, if he can be believed. There is no need to admit to something that never happens to make you seem relatable.

You know that they know they have totally lost an argument (or anything they could assume is an argument) and they have nothing left to argue about when they resort to calling everyone who disagrees with them as "SDS employees"! Yet, they don't realize they got nothing left and continue to spout nonsense!

This has been a thing for years so I believe it to be intentional for whatever weird convoluted reason.
I think you may have experienced something for sure, if you watch the pre-Launch dev video Chris Gill talks about how AI is smarter and harder. So what you are experiencing is competition.

I want to be challenged. I just don't want to be challenged to the extent when I select All-Star I get Legend. Like everyone else I want to get through Conquests, with enough challenge that it's not a completely boring commitment.
The way some maps are designed it's almost as if they nearly enforce you early on to play StealFans. I'm not a fan of playing it believe me. I do Conquest to knock out missions like everyone else then get the heck out of it so I can really get the Chef's Surprise in RS.
This software has a big problem with drawing the lines in it's difficulty levels. Fact.

I want to feel bad for those that find Conquest challenging on Veteran, but I just cannot do it. Good luck with Conquest Extreme when that comes out! Cannot wait to hear about the conspiracy theories on that!

Nope. Steal games play the same as strongholds to me. I've never experienced what you are describing.
