How’s Biggio

I got lucky with a trout pull early and looking at the overall AL collection it doesn’t look too bad once you have trout. Ive done well with br runs and gotten some decent stubs so even another 9 win run or two and I think I could get the AL done. Won’t even come close to NL until this summer. Anybody get a chance to use Biggio much? I know it’s personal preference but generally there are some cards that just seem to play above what you’d expect and some below.

He’s pretty good man. Sort of comparable with Hornsby last year. I start him at catcher and he’s been great. Batting over .300 online with a good amount of extra base hits. Has good speed. Decent batting stance. Pretty solid all around.
He’s end game. Him and Mantle are. Not sure about Sheffield. Sheff can hit but he’s sort of bad in the field. I’ll probably run Biggio and Mantle all year.
I have around 200 at bats with Biggio so far. He’s been really solid at catcher too. His glove is pretty good back there.

I’ve heard he swings a wet noodle. I hope I’m wrong because I just need lindor and some of the other AL East diamonds to finish up the AL.

That’s good to hear. Loved Hornsby bat last year but didn’t like his d at second and chipper and pujols pushed him out of third for me. Biggio defense and speed look like he could play second for a while as long as he hits.

Biggio is solid. Surprisingly, he hits for more power online vs offline for me. He’s my leadoff hitter and catcher

I would put him at catcher since its probably the least saturated position and he'll be by far the best behind the dish.

McGuigan has said it repeatedly. I saw a few other tweets too. Also I’ve faced him a few times in RS/BR, and he never really did anything notable at the plate. I plan to run him at catcher when I get him though.
