@MKExKnyiiGroe_XBL first off you’re on the current Xbox, it’s not a MLB the show issue, your physical hardware can’t keep up with frames put into the game. As for a “priority” your priority should be invested in a next gen console, 85% of the people playing This game have one. And I assure you there’s nothing SDS can do about frame drop, your Xbox can’t support it.
Where you get 85% from? You’re just making stuff up

Not to mention the fact that thwre are devs on this very forum that confirmed that the game is in fact capable of 60fps on current gen hardware.. (any other game I play with significantly larger file sizes run 60fps no problem) so it can’t be a hardware issue when legit no other game I own does this and I’ve had the same setup for 3 years now

I legit know one person in real life who has a next gen console.. 90 percent of my friends are gamers with the other 10 being people I associate with from work… perhaps the statistic itself is exaggerated and while the majority of mlb 21 players may have next gen… the majority of overall gamers do not… hope you can grasp what I am saying now

Am I making up the fact that I.. among hundreds of others..bought a game advertised to run on the current hardware that doesn’t?! Again if you have nothing of merit to add just move along you’re clogging the thread bud

@MKExKnyiiGroe_XBL my guy...
1st off...
If the Xbox can’t support it at its current generation and this is known then why even sell the game? Why keep it on the marketplace as essentially a land mine for baseball fans? Also are you living under a rock or are you unaware of how hard it is to actually get a next gen console right now?! Everyone keeps saying “current gen can’t support”….. THEN WHY IS IT ON THE MARKETPLACE IF THEY KNOW THE CURRENT GEN CANT RUN IT?!
To answer your first issue, MONEY. It can run the game, but it’s going to run it like a 2003 dell computer. Nobody with next gen is talking about frame rate issues. Why? Just GO compare the specs between the two consoles..
Not to mention the fact that thwre are devs on this very forum that confirmed that the game is in fact capable of 60fps on current gen hardware.. Number 2, how can you say no other game does this? When you don’t even own a next gen console. So have you played PubG on both consoles? You’ll see a difference... how about Warzone?, No?, 2K?. Literally every game I’ve played it’s a night and day difference on how it runs. You literally have to wait almost a whole 30 seconds between load screens versus what next gen has to wait... But it CANT be the console right? And as for the devs saying they have came out and said it can run 60fps... they can’t come out and say it doesn’t. There making money on sold copies to current gen like it or not they don’t care about how your game runs.They literally had a update 2 days ago saying they fixed “freeze offs” and that didn’t happen. You believe what you wanna believe, but from someone who has played MLB on current and next gen, I’m 110% positive it’s the hardware you have.

Simple question then… if it was my hardware then why is every other game I own capable of running every other game formatted to those specs? And I never said “every game” just the games I currently play.. yes while warzone doesn’t look as fancy as it does on the newer gen IT STILL WORKS(can’t see how yaal can’t grasp that) it doesn’t run “like a dell” it runs like every other game in the last 5 years that I’ve played on it I don’t give a [censored] about loading times and startup times I care that the game runs smoothly… if I have to wait an extra 10 seconds to play a game that doesn’t drop to 15fps then so be it… that argument is terrible and based purely on semantics when will yaal give it a rest.. explain to me how wanting a game to function the same as advertised is synonymous with wanting it to run as well as it does on current gen… you’re acting like I’m complaining about the cosmetics… Do you remember playing games on current gen before next gen came out? Did you ever buy a game that didn’t run as it said it would in the hardware you owned…has any other Xbox one game you’ve ever owned religiously ran at 15fps?! you fookin troll……I wasn’t complaining then about the quality of frame rates a month ago when I was grinding warzone… What changed? Hmmm.. could it be poor optimization of a game to a current gen console?! HMMMMM

$60-$80 is good money? If that’s good money for you, you might want to consider getting a better job.
right that's a night out for dinner and drinks
It’s not even enough for a buy-in for a poker game at my friend's house.
high rollers
It’s a good game. We’ve been doing it for years.
I used to play for laundry quarters at university but the night always ended with blank cheques being written to cover the bets.

You’re right about it being tough to find a next gen console, it’s ridiculously tough … BUT I don’t understand you point about frame rate issues from old systems to the newer more powerful systems … The older systems don’t push the hardware like they do with the newer more powerful systems… MLB the show should run fine on the PS4 like it has for years because they know what the hardware is capable of and how far they can push it …. Any issue should be patched…
