You know what's part of the problem with this game?

Those that have a voice and think every should be catered to their experience.
There is a certain streamer who posted on Twitter upset over the reward that is in the 650k pack. All the while in the picture they are currently sitting on 1.3 million stubs.
This community and those that have a voice are ruining this game. Nothing is ever good enough it always wanting more.
Yes SDS is accountable for fixing the game for issues like the freezing and servers that are basically elements for making the game work.
But this community also needs to understand that not everything is about them and those in a postion to have a voice need to be accountable that they cant spit off on every time there are in game rewards that don't give the biggest pay day or make their God squad you know cause their should be 100 God squad players to fill 9 starting spots.
you touched on exactly the issue i bring up on here to random idiots all the time - way too many people today think their voice and opinion actually means something when most are just non-contributing zeros

Ok now I’m curious which entitled man baby that the OP is referring to. I love reading about them whining about a video game.
Edit: Never mind. Got it. What a whiny clown.

I agree with Healy on this one here. I believe the bigger problems for someone like Myself who has put 900-1000 hours per game in MLB DD since 17, we've seen better rewards in the past. It is disappointing when you grind out big time to get the good packs and end up with 5k regardless of the amount of stubs one has. Healy only has a million stubs because of winning. SDS needs to do better when it comes to large grind rewards.
Example: It makes ZERO sense why the Championship reward in RS is only a live series gold, that for most part is only worth 1k (There are exceptions). Getting to CS in Ranked is not easy to do, this year especially with the connection issues and poor gameplay. I remember in MLB 17, i was able to complete the collections because I pulled Trout & Altuve from different CS rewards.
I hope for the remainder of the year, they look into the rewards and make them worth while, and not wait until Nov-Dec when the game is dead to give the best rewards.

That's slight different though. I agree DS and CS need better rewards for ranked, but anything after the boss pack in the inning programs is meant to be filler content, not something you go out of your way to grind toward

I totally agree with you point for ranked season but the inning program I do not as the reward in question is just extra the main reward would already been reached at 350k.
Also I have issue with someone like him putting SDS on blast on social when he gets alot of perks and opportunities from them that I'm sure he could bring his issue up in a more direct way. That is why I really feel he is ungrateful in this situation

Sorry, i posted that on mine on accident lol. I disagree, the STALE content that we have now with the overuse of "Moments", "Inning program", and "Conquest" is because everyone gives SDS A+ for content when it has been stale for years. We need people like Healy to tell them when they are doing things wrong so they can improve, or we will be getting poor rewards next year and following and no improvement. You can be grateful and critical at the same time.

I agree you can be but he wasn't or if he is he did not present it correctly.
I also understand that people will value things differently that said it's all FREE really and SDS could do a 180 and say your not great full for what we give you fine here better rewards but you have to now buy the inning program pass that equals about 10 bucks or 100k in stubs.
There were better ways to present his point and he missed the mark and came off very ungrateful

TBH, the game only has a few months left until it is considered "dead" usually casuals switch to Madden or 2K around the end of August or Sept and only people who play after that are people like Healy. I would rather SDS throw all of the best rewards at us early so more people can enjoy them, vs waiting until November when most causals have moved on to other games.
I would imagine if they put at 42 series player at the end of the 3rd inning program more people would play and be closer to Jackie, vs a useless 5k diamond card.
-
But when they give out good cards early everyone cries about that too.
-
While I agree that in general there is too much whining/complaining, SDS' stated justification for getting rid of the overall xp progression was that they'd 'juice' the inning programs. So, for this specific complaint I think it's justified to complain a bit. A quick-sell LS card at the end of the program is not juicing anything.
The 2nd and 3rd innings have been meh overall though so I guess the last reward in the programs is just more of the same.

The counter argument to that is wouldn't you rather reward the people who stick around longer then those that take off when the new flashy game comes out

We are only in the 3rd inning so there is plenty of time for things to get bigger also I'll take an 85 to 89 live series player as the final reward over a gold legend or Flashback that is an 81 overall in Mid June from the XP path that we got.
The XP path wasn't as great as people want to make out to have been. Yes you got a jucied 99 overall card pretty early but guess what EVERYONE complained about that card and that everyone had the 99 Kluber and he was overpowered to early in the game.

The servers are the only legitimate gripe that people can have. and being able to hit homers 6 inches outside of the strike zone. there is no penalty for that
I think in real life someone can hit a HR 6" off the plate. Let's get real now.
-
The cards are free no need to complain, No need to be in a rush to finish the XP path. If the follow years past the XP path will be more than 650 the other years games the first few inning programs were pretty short. I think here soon they will expand it to around 900 like they did in the 19 and 20. I do like the prospect cards in the US Map when you complete a Div.
-
I’m honestly glad the XP path is gone. They have been the reason for lack of card diversity the two previous years.
Played Kershaw and Nolan Ryan 60% of 19.
Played Kluber and Newhouser 80% of 20 (often in the same game). Granted that also falls on SDS for not nerfing pitcher stamina regeneration but still.I do miss having that constant grind to work towards but I definitely don’t miss it at all as far as the rewards go.
I have over 600k stubs sitting around and I’m NMS. Certainly can’t complain about the freebies this year.

I do thank you for the positive and constructive discussion alot more then I can say about this issue on Twitter

I normally do and should have continued to do so but something g just really rubbed me the wrong way.
After seeing the response on Twitter it pretty much proved my thoughts of a segment of this community.
I have cut off my access to the streamers and unfollowed all of them as I they belive some of them have become a negative influence on this game. I see their value however when every third player is streaming and there are 85 videos for roster predictions it's over saturated

Its not that they cant in real life either but when I give up 6 hits in a game and 2 are 6 inches out of the zone and they are hit for a homer. The pitch is thrown to draw a swing from the batter and they are rewarded with a homer
