Youtubers really can't keep their mouths shut. All silvers now have thousands of bids where they used to be near qs. Once all these bids go through everyone will exchange to get golds and the market for golds will be gone. Am I wrong? I hope I'm wrong I've been stockpiling golds for a few weeks now

Why have you been stockpiling golds? Unless you think some are on diamond watch, why not sell?

I sell the ones I can get 3000+ for. But I've been keeping all the qs ones waiting for the next big exchange. Plus I sold 30 altuves for 1400 and now he's going for 4000. So I'm nervous about just selling them lol

Sure, that makes sense, but you are worried about the gold market crashing because of what you stockpiled, but the ones you are keeping are qs anyway, so they can't crash no?

Yeah sure those will be qs no matter what. But I still flip golds. You know buy at 1800 sell for 2400 I don't always sit on my cards. I'm just saying man, I really think golds are gonna drop. Also like I said, I could be wrong and I hope I'm wrong

Can someone tell me what I missed, the secret the Youtubers apparantly dropped?

Edit: is this about the exchange of silver players to gold? That has been a thing every year so people could anticipate this coming at some point.

Yeah, except with new Xbox players, it held out for a lot longer than in years past.

People should know by now, nothings a secret anymore. Streamers need something to get views, and since most of them can’t really play, they rely on showing off exploits, glitches, and ways to make easy stubs. Is what it is at this point, I give it maybe another year before all LS diamonds are QS within a couple weeks after launch. Unless SDS does something completely different with collections, like they did with not being able to QS cards after being collected.

Well I haven't played dd for the last 4 years so I didn't know. It is what it is. Not all of us are season vets lol we still have to learn this stuff. It's a bummer when one of your best stub makers get blown up by youtubers. I'll find something else

Golds are dead and at QS every year around this time, save for 84s and some 83s that people hope go diamond. Golds always have the worst margins relative to their QS.

An anyways, using golds for exchanges is a terrible idea. Less tedious yes but more expensive

Why can’t people just play the game & tackle this stuff when it arrives. Stockpiling cards like toilet paper…Such nerd [censored] man.

Lemme break it down to a simple form...

Right before roster updates, people throw tons of buy orders into silvers expecting to go gold. Why? Because once the card is gold, the minimum buy is 1000 stubs m orders listed under 950 will generate automatic profit.

This is because people sell now and don't pay attention to a QS minimum, thus losing out.

Getting mad about this is lame. Get over it. It's a free country. There's plenty of other ways to get stubs. Also, this isn't the first year of this.

That was this time last year.
We even had fights over toilet paper. I remember buying Panda toilet tissue at one point. Imagine wiping your buttocks with a 🐼 🤣

about 70% of the gold cards are QS value or just above....seems like a lot of work only to break even most of the time. Gold values are low mainly due to all the packs you can earn, especially BIAH packs. BIAH used to be special release packs a few years back and the market would go nuts when they put in the show shop. I feel like the diamond pull was much higher then however.

If anything a gold crash now is good, stock up for the roster update with minimal risk

altuve was a good one to invest in while he was low, it was only a matter of time before he started getting going, i mean in reality hes a diamond player even if its only 85.

I feel ya, id been doing the exchange method since the game dropped. Finished live series, jackie, and mariano. Was working my way to a million stubs for the big collection and then that video dropped. I was doing it for 600-800 an exchange now its like 1200-1400 each. Not even worth it
