How do you dashboard on a PS4?

I know that sounds dumb but I'm in a freeze off and want to quit, was just wondering if there's anyone to just close MLBTS or do I have to re-start my system? I know on PS5 you can close the program. Can you do that on PS4?

I forget if it's a single press or if you have to hold it down, but the PS button should give you an option to close the application.

Thanks yeah that gives me the option to close the application. Had a PS4 for years and never knew that. I don't dashboard so never had a reason to figure it out!

On ps4 and ps5 you have to dashboard to close all games. -
You can either hit the options buttons and close the app. Or, you can simply pull the ethernet wire and plug it back in to lose connection, but if you do this at least let the ball land so the guy can have his stats. It's a-hole move.
