what are your thoughts on using cap

Cap should only be in RTTS. DD is already a cheese fest

CAP is probably my favorite thing about the game.. always has been. To be able to create a player with my own name and likeness is great for a fantasy team. That's the closest I'll ever get to being on a professional baseball team. I'd rather have my CAP than any other player in the game. Don't you guys get that taken away from me!!

They have a part in the game. People like having a "player" they create. It's one player. It doesn't ruin the game at all. We all have the same opportunity to have the same player. You can't always say that in DD

I didn’t use a CAP LY and got annoyed by how juiced they are but this year Ricky Franchise (aka maxed Hawk) is my lead off hitter because why the f not.

After seeing how insanely good the CAPs could be this year, my thoughts were if you can’t beat em, join em.
I created Jim Lahey at SS and he’s well worth the relatively short amount of time to get him.
Over 115 on all hitting stats, 90+ fielding and arm, 80+ speed and of course switch hitting. Like others said, actually pretty fun to use

When in rome do as the romans. If you’re anti cap then perhaps make a player you like but cannot afford. Like trout but can’t get him got make trout. Like Jeter make a jeter. Like story but can’t afford him make a story. Make their stats close to the actual card at pxp 5 if it makes you feel better.

Im not a fan, but you cant afford to not have one. I would love for them to get rid of them. Or stleast give them attribute caps and not allow pitching caps. 6'10" lefty submarine pitchers throwing 100 mph fastballs with 4 breaking balls is stupid

Never have never will. I made created players in Franchise, thats where they belong. Want to make a player, by all means do it but its not for me. If I wanted to Id play RTTS or Franchise. I play DD for the Legends and Flashbacks.

What do you have to do to get the stats up to 100s for CAP? Sorry never even looked into it, do you need to play RTTS?

I will never use cap. And I hate how glitchy pitcher you can make and take him to RS, I really don't understand this is allowed in competitive mode

I think it should be used offline as well. I can't stress enough of what a difference it makes for guys like me who seriously wanted to make MLB. It takes away the pain.
I don't play RS - not good enough offensively, maybe good enough pitching-wise - but I think a CAP has no place in ranked games unless there's a, ahem, cap on that CAP. Maybe 89 overall like last year. -
Yes its fun.
The same way i play simulation football (soccer) manager games and have myself as the manager.
Its a video game.
