So then I would just play franchise. thats just me I guess

Unless you get paid for your ranked record at the end of the year, online is a waste, too.

I guess, unless you like to compete against other people. which is kind of the entire point of DD

But it literally isn't the entire point. Conquest? Against the computer. Showdown? Against the computer. Moments? Against the computer.

those are for building up your team, that you eventually take online...

Dude don’t be like that. DD can be for any type of player. Especially nowadays. The whole “ultimate team is for H2H” is really old. It’s a card collecting game where you can use the cards in multiple modes. Period. I don’t know why people who mostly play online constantly try to tell others what they need to use their cards for. And I’m a split 50/50 online and offline player.

In franchise you can collect cards or you are stuck with the same line up all the time? I don't get why people care if someone plays offline, online or both, why does it even matter? Before you say it doesn't or you don't care, you obviously do because you've messaged twice about it.

DD has loads of things to do offline especially now that they did the stats accumulation offline as well as online so they obviously know there is a large portion that plays that way.

well im sitting on lunch break bored first of all. its just kind of weird to play a mode designed for building a team with the sole purpose of playing online. but playing that mode offline.

Where is it said that online is the sole reason to play diamond dynasty? They say over and over how the game is made for everyone offline and online. YOU think it's online and that's fine, lots of people do but look at ehat happened with the stats for cards last year, how many people got upset that you can't do that offline. There is a large part of the player base that doesn't play online.

well yeah because you play conquest and what not and then you take your guys online and they have like 100 homers because youve been dominating the computer. its nice to actually know what they are doing vs actual real competition

That point is invalid because online and offline stats are seperate. The only thing that would carry over from me playing online, after playing offline most of the year, is any cards that I've already paralled.

yeah, was that not the point he was trying to make? that they made them separate as of last year

It’s just a lot of time and energy earning cards you could just use right now if you play offline. 99 over live series collections reward chipper is just chipper, you don’t really need to get every LS card if you’re an offline player.

Roster control - Move Players - LS collection finished in 35 seconds. Why grind moments and simulate 1,500 conquest territories.

Same reason people lose interest when they max XP. A lot of people like the grind and the earning of cards.

All those modes are just ways of gaining XP and packs and cards to build your Diamond Dynasty team. I guess there is just different kinds of people that like to play this game. Some people like competition vs opponents that aren't computer programs. To each their own.

I play offline and love it. I'm sure online is fun too. But offline, I can do whatever I want. I can play with an all Orioles team and have a good time. An all Orioles team, even with the old legends, will never be competitive online (at least not to the endgame).

I have zero issue with playing vs other people but the online scene is a complete disaster. If it isn't freezeoffs, it's constant bunting, it's the constant wasting of time, the holding r2 all the time. There is so much nonsense playing people in this game. I have a group of friends that every once in a while we play games vs each other but those games are fun and not a chore like online play has become. I don't care one way or another how people choose to play a game at all, I just get annoyed when online players always say go play franchise or there is no point in playing because you aren't online.

Video games are a break from reality and supposed to be fun. I don't enjoy all the things I have stated but I enjoy working towards getting cards, playing whatever games I want to play at the time. Don't enjoy moments but I dont know many that do. People enjoy different things and the game is designed for that, different ways to play. No where is it stated that DD is a mode that is only online. The only requirement is to actually be online when playing
