Do You Need Lineup Advice?

Did you just pull Mike Trout and don't know whether to keep or sell him?
Are you struggling to find a 5th starter that won't give up seven runs a start?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you have come to the right place! Post your DD squad-related dilemma below and I will give you some (hopefully) amazing advice to help you solve the problem.
I'm currently 25-4 in RS this season, I'm usually around 900 in rating, I've played DD for 5+ years, and can say I've used and/or faced most good cards in the game. So I think I'm pretty experienced and can give good lineup advice--this isn't a troll or anything. That being said, obviously I don't know everything and a lot depends on personal preference. Squad building is one of my favorite parts of DD and I've seen a lot of posts looking for advice, so hit me up.

I enjoyed using the 84 Reggie Jackson and was excited to see the recently released 95.
However, rather than looking like an upgrade to the earlier version, this looks like a different player altogether. The 84 is 20 pts quicker and is stronger against lefties. The 95 also has slightly lower arm strength, stealing and vision, but has better hitting against righties.
Can I realistically expect the 95 to play similarly to the 84? Or would the 2 versions of the same player be as different on the field as they appear to be on the stat sheet?

I think he should play pretty similarly. The swing/stance won't change and all of his hitting stats are a major upgrade over the 84. I highly doubt the two less arm strength will be a noticeable difference. The decrease in speed will hurt his range in the outfield a little bit, but nobody starts Reggie Jackson for his defense and hitting the bronze reaction and fielding threshold should help alleviate the lack of speed issue to a degree. I think the 95 is very much an upgrade over the 84.

A player of your skill? Only hitting .400? Send him to the bench ASAP. I'd recommend 92 Mike Schmidt instead. He has a really slow swing, so you won't have to worry about being very early on those 102 MPH Chapman fastballs on legend like you always are. You should be able to hit plenty of perfect timing HRs with him and bat at least .600

No offense, I appreciate you tuning in, but this is why I'm giving the advice and not you. Clearly this man is underperforming with Chipper and needs help. With my advice, everyone is guaranteed to bat at least .500 and usually much higher than that.*
