The big collection came out - Mariano they aren't going to have another collection - last year Trout year before that Wagner
They literally said on the stream there would be more "big collections" to come....

They literally said this wasn't the big collection. Please know what you say before advising others. May mess them up.

Also, is there a way to mass sell all the duplicates I have? I am 99% sure you cant but worth a shot. Pain in the [censored] going through all items I have dupes of.

I dont want to sell a diamond that I will need for some collection or something down the road but I dont know how to check for that?
But as the title says... should I be selling Diamond cards of players I dont use? For example I have a diamon Carlos Carrasco and I will never have him in my lineup. Should I just sell him? What would the benefit being for just keeping him??
Sorry I havent played The Show since 2017 and I never played DD before.
It all depends on what you want to do, normally I am like you I just hoard the diamonds but this year I want to get the LS Collection done so I have been selling anything and everything I get and will collect them back at a later date.
Overall do what make you enjoy this game if having all those cards raises your enjoyment keep getting them. There are so many fun cards that I can't wait to get back into some of them

Because some diamonds just aren't sellable, like the Carrasco you mentioned is from team affinity, those aren't sellable.

that's a big ole incorrect, and why new players are often times confused. Don't spread false information bud.
Live stream they were very clear that this will be a tiered collection program this year, with MULTIPLE cards still coming out.
Additionally, Honus and Trout came out mid summer, not a month after the game dropped.
If you aren't sure of something ask, but please don't spread bad info.

- Keep veteran, all-star, 2nd half hero, prospects, rookie cards etc. etc. -- those will certainly be in current/future collections and they can become very expensive later on (there are 79ovr cards right now going for 5k+).
- Sell live series cards based on:
- The market
- The players performance
- Which collections are nearly finished v barely started
Ex: Right now I am working on completing the SD and LAD collections -- because I want to beef-up my bullpen. So I look at my cards, read the market and go from there. If I am confident that I can sell a card for stubs, then re-purchase it later at a cheaper price than I sold it for (making a profit) then I will sell the card.
Look at your collections too. Let's say you have Bryce Harper's live series card but already have a stacked OF, and you only have 10/40 Philly cards, odds are I would sell him and use the stubs to compete another collection(s). Once I am close to the Philly collection being complete, I'd repurchase Harper.

I really try and avoid it except in very specific circumstances. For example I sold my 1st inning boss when I needed stubs at the beginning of inning 2 as I was not going to do that collection quest.

No real reason other then SDS just decided that those cards can only be earned and not bought/sold.

Anything that was a Collect reward (Mariano, Chipper, Kalenic, 99 Jackie, etc) will be no-sell. Also, anything from a Team Affinity choice pack (42, Gold Legends/Flashbacks, Diamond Legend/Flashbacks, Uniforms, Bat Skins, etc) is unsellable. Also, anything earned from a program (Evolution, McGriff, POTM) unsellable as well.
Prior to last year, EVERY Team Affinity reward was unsellable. Last year, however, they made TA3 and TA4 rewards sellable. Remains to be seen whether that continues this year.
(Also, anything you've locked in for a collection.)
