Played 2 online games and now see what everyone is talking about

The online game is atrocious. Defenders feel like they are on ice skates and struggle to catch routine fly balls, impossible to hit spots with pitchers and some more really good pci swings for okay contact. I don't need Felix bad enough to do this for 40 wins. Think I'll stick with Showdown for a while. No interest in RS after 2 event games. I can play Showdown and get Gallo or Soto which definitely seems more enjoyable and I usually despise playing against the cpu but it is much better than online play.

Showdown is messed up to because of this stuff, at least hitting wise

You're right. Showdown definitely has issues too. Lots of good/good routine fly balls, etc. CPU fielders are all gold glove winners. Pitchers dotting pitches. All that being said, it is still more enjoyable than playing online.

Man and think how hyped we all were after that DD stream. It’s almost like they enjoy doing this to us every year. Yes, bigger problems in the world right now than this but jeez... I’m going to go watch Groundhog Day.

It’s like they saw 1000 great comments about hitting, but then one guy said he got slaughtered a ton and here we are. Maybe the guy who does the tuning sucks at the game and changed it so he’d stop getting killed by the rest of us

Even if they do fix the hitting, the pitcher-batter interface just looks wonky to me. Hard to explain but doesn't look smooth.
Someone said it right when they said we have much more important things. This is very trivial compared to that. I think everyone staying indoors is fueling this issue. I am going to take the approach, if they get it fixed great. If not, I'll play Showdown or other things.
