i think pin point pitching should be thrown out of the game. sds is adding a dynamic that has nothing to do with the game of baseball other than accuracy but your play another smaller game to achieve that has absolutely nothing to do with baseball

Ok, but what do any of the other pitching methods have to do with baseball? The answer is nothing, so that's not a valid complaint since it can be applied to all of them.

exactly my point ...nothing.....so it shouldnt be in the game

So no pitching methods should be in the game? Because that argument applied to all of them. I guess we just don't pitch?

Moving a stick up and down to throw a pitch has nothing to do with actual baseball either though.

yes but the buttons are not accuracy specific....this convo is above your pay grade friend. 🙂

i do not use pinpoint pitching at all and i 3 hit someone with 14k yesterday who had way more wins than i do......jmo it should not be in the game

    imagine this

    you either
    paid for
    work your [censored] off
got in a lucky pack of cards

to get the pitcher of your fitting but now instead of enjoying playing the game using him as a pitcher you have to play another equational game to achieve accuracy when his stats show good accuracy "already" in order to use him effectively. to me thats bs....

Ok, so what if you did, how exactly does that = remove pinpoint. Your argument was it's not realistic to baseball, but every single pitching method in this game isn't realistic to baseball. Analog, meter, classic, any method isn't realistic, so where is a legitimate argument to remove it?

removing pin point techniques gives the batter a better picture of what is coming at him. its more human like and prone to more human error. your pitcher is less computer like if you can kinda see what i mean. that can be positive or negative

So, wadda ya think would? Throwing your freaking controller at the screen. Put a little spin on it with a knuckle grip. Go all Wii with it.

Don't know if this is to make an excuse for the games failings (meter sucks) or to say Pinpoint Pitching is actually more similar to "real-life".

All I'm suggesting is the game is fun. But the game is also not a simulation. It's more a cartoon. That sounds derogatory but not intended. The Show is a very great source of entertainment..ya just got to keep perspective and understand you don't get better by adhering to the hype and marketing suggestions.

Dude, you keep making bad whining posts that contradict each other and you’re a condescending a-hole, just stop. You’re a newbie that doesn’t have anything to bring to the table because you’re getting spanked and blaming the game instead of accepting the learning curve involved. Play 500ish RS games and then see where you’re at. Right now you’re in tinfoil territory. Not a good look.

There is no accuracy stat, control is how hard it is to achieve perfect perfect, and BB/9 is how close that actually is to perfect. Nobody can actually throw where they want every time, not even close.

And yes, there is a button sequence in place to pitch, or analog sticks, or whatever you want, it’s not another game. If you want to use pulse, use pulse, it’s entirely usable and based off “accuracy”. I made WS with it for years, eventually I just wanted to pitch even better. You can choose meter if you want to throw harder, or PP if you want precision, they all work.

no body does, this individual is either really young, or very confused. We've gone rounds about other things, none of it is coherent lol.

I'd block, but this is enjoyable to watch.
