Not saying this is a viewpoint you have, but I wish all the 'presumption of innocence' folks would be so passionate about cases where completely innocent bystanders are assaulted and/or killed by authorities, instead of pointing out the legal wrinkles in cases involving obviously guilty criminals. Not saying that's you -- just making what I think is an important point about what innocence really means and when we should be outraged by violations of innocence. Not to mention in cases like this, there are actual victims and it appears very doubtful that Ozuna is a victim here.

Not defending it...but fingerprints on an arm is way different then beating someone within an inch of their life....and how does he have a history of it?
He had literally made news on several occasions for domestic disturbances in the past before Mlb instituted these new domestic violence policies. I’m not judge, jury or executioner but if you’ve done it once it much more likely to do it again as there is precedent now.
I have never heard of any other incidents ..I have googled and can find nothing.

That’s what I thought, but I think I read somewhere that Felipe Vasquez is the second highest paid player on the Pirates books this year. I don’t know how any of the behind the scenes stuff works, and maybe Pittsburgh knew a court battle to void the contract would cost more than just paying him out. Either way… Ozuna can eat a canvas sack full of rubber schwangs. What a dope.
(And it’s true we don’t know the whole story, obv, but it’s s really really bad look to rush in and defend a guy whose hands were literally wrapped around a woman’s neck in plain view of the police… this forum is depressing sometimes)

Vick AB ray ray it happens in the NFL NBA and in all of our daily lives nobody should be shunned into the darkness of society due to a mishap mistake or unfortunate event even if its your worst moment of life you should be able to continue to provide for yourself and not have your livelihood ripped from you forever
That being said wife beating raping or pedo shyt should be executed on the day guilt is proven
