Why repeat an Angels version of Torii Hunter?

There are several GG seasons in Minnesota (2002 or 2007) that would be better. Heck even a Signature Series or Prime version from Minnesota. The man made his name as a Twin, this is lazy that two straight years we get the same Angel card.

I wouldn't rule out a high diamond Torii with the Twins. It'd be a solid card too, I just worry it'd get buried for most players behind Buxton and some of the other 1A outfielders.

I’m sure for twins fans they’d rather have a 96 Hunter rather than that future star card they got.

I don’t understand why people care what team is on the card. If anything, I like using cards from different teams who still played for the Rockies because it helps spread out the innings for TA

He was all around better for those years in Minnesota. I want to use the best version of Torii Hunter.
I disagree.. His best power year was with minnesota but as far as consistency goes it was the angels. He was hitting .260 to .275 with the twins. He hit .280 to .305 with the angels. Power was a touch better but not much better with the twins.

I don't think we get another card of puckett this year. When a new legend is a part of collections then that is usually the only card we get of theirs that year..

Last year he was the twins collection reward. The card sucked. It just won't have enough contact to play with on the higher difs...

He hit .299 in 2009 as opposed to .289 in 2002. 10 points is nothing, literally every stat was better in 2002. More HRs, steals, and way better Defense.

His homers were not that much better. His only good average season is the .289 and the steals were never a real big part of his game as he never stole more than 23. He also stole 18 the first year with the angels. His ops is better which means he was hitting for more power in cali. Yeah they weren't necessarly the 6 more taters but gap to gap was better. The defense was about the same. He was really flashy with the glove with a decent arm. He was just a more consistent player in cali tho.

Defense was the same? Did you even bother to look anything up lol? Per Fangraphs, he only had one year defensively while with the Angels that was above league average and it was barely above league average.
OPS doesn't mean anything is SDS land. It's either ISO or HR per AB to determine power ratings (both work just fine). Both were higher in 2002 than 2009. I'll take the higher power, more speed, better defense, with even contact numbers vs LHP & RHP from his actual best playing days with the Twins, as opposed TO THE EXACT SAME CARD AS LAST YEAR

Yeah but if they did a twins hunter, with buxton and puckett already out there we wouldn't be able to play nelson cruz.

I think it has more to do with what Angels they have rights to currently for this category of Legends
