Last question today I hope

How does anyone get better at this game when you can't control your PCI placement so much of the time? I'll drop mine down for a curve ball and the screen shows it hasn't moved sometimes. Sometimes I'll come straight up for a fast ball, and my pci will show up and to the right. It's almost like it's being controlled to purposely support the play that gets animated.
I've tried 2 different controllers. These have served me well and accurately in every other game I've played.
Can anyone offer advice? Is there an adjustment on my controller I can make? I just want to get better like all of you so I can play RS.

Try getting Kontrol Freaks. They helped me make smaller movements with my PCI.
Other than that it’s just practice and discipline

What controllers have you been using? Like Scufs? Custom controllers? Because those typically come with slightly increased stick tension. Which means a bit more 'force' is required for the stick to begin moving at all (vs a standard DS4 controller). That's not good for trying to flick the PCI at the last second, which is how most hits occur
I recently tried my scuf on this game, it's not the play. Standard DS4 for sure for PCI hitting
If that's not your issue, then idk. But what you said about trying to hit curve balls, I experienced that while trying to use the Scuf

Lol this 100% the guy that got banned yesterday after his BR loss.

Standard Sony PS4 controllers. You would think with company hardware I would get better results huh? Ha.
I'm guessing it's nothing to do with the controller. From a few hours playing today I'm sure of it.

I've yet to play Battle Royale. Should I?

Sounds like you've tried all your controllers already. I was going to say for both PS4 and PS5 I've always had one controller that works better, especially if you play alot of games after awhile they will have different tensions in the thumbsticks. I prefer a stiffer one since the looser ones tend to move too much on me.
