Contact Swing is Ruining the Game

Just lost a BR game to an opponent who hit 3 HRs back-to-back-to-back with bad timing and even worse PCI placement. After the game he messaged me to tell me he hit his HRs on contact swings. He wasn’t trying to be a [censored] about it, he was trying to “let me in” on the hack.
So much hard work has been put into this game, yet SDS will let this go for this long??? I don’t get it. This topic has been on this forum for at least a couple of weeks. The content creators are talking about it, and it seems it’s all the rage now.
PLEASE FIX THIS SDS!!!

Beware of the fix; it could break something else. Better take their time. Even then, the fix probably will bring up another issue

Not saying you are 100% wrong, but GABP is not exactly a pitcher’s paradise. I play at Shippet and do hit stuff out on contact swings, that said maybe pick a pitcher’s park and inclement weather if it is bugging you that much?

You are part of the problem. If you know it’s an exploit, at least you admit your a cheeses that uses it ( at Shippett)...

I’m not part of any problem. I mostly play offline and when I do play online I only use contact swings on two strike counts. That being said, I don’t think of contact swings as “cheating” or even that cheesy. Bunt dancing was cheesy, R2 abuse is cheesy, hell quick pitching can be kind of cheesy, but usage of a swing type that is getting good results is just playing the meta.
I have no idea how the programming works, but I’m guessing there is either a % or flat reduction to power when you contact swing, but when you have guys with 120 power all over the place even a 25% nerf is only going to knock them down to 90. Not exactly challenging to hit bombs like that. Personally I think they SHOULD nerf contact swing (and will). Hopefully they do a flat reduction with a cap somewhere in the 50-70 range.
All of this is to say there is no way that people are (or should be expected to) not use the swing type that is getting the best results.
