Whenever I have runners at first and third, it is impossible to steal JUST second base. Has anyone else had this issue?
I point the left stick to first base and press L2, but the runner at third ALWAYS steals as well. Really annoying that I can't do such a simple play for some reason. Seems that L2 means auto steal for everyone no matter if I'm pointing at one player.

Nah it works for me. You’re doing something wrong.

Are you trying to press both buttons simultaneously? You have to hold left stick over and then the steal button.

You mean stealing 2nd and home if it wr stealing 1st and 3rd you'd have a runner on second and the batter running on a called 3rd strike that the Catcher dropped

So you only read titles and not articles when looking at a paper or a book?

I was wondering the same thing. I definitely hold the joystick over, see it is highlighting the runner on 1st, hit L2 while still holding it, and the guy on 3rd tries to steal home. Every time, I don't get it.

Yeah...as in stealing while on 1st and 3rd

I think it's not working correctly because we have auto baserunning on. I know I'm only pressing for the guy to steal 2nd and both run. Are you on auto baserunning? And the people that don't have the problem do u run bases manually?
-
I queue up stealing and it hasn't worked in a while. I'm talking Rickey and Jackie, not scrubs. Oh, well.
-
Only time I've noticed this issue is in moments tbh.

Switch to classic baserunning and never have the problem again. Auto running set to off and classic not default baserunning. Classic makes it much, much easier to control the runners. Buttons and d-pad only, never L1.
