Is the Knuckelball now forgotten

why cant i find the knuckeball for my pitcher in rtts i like to have as my 4th pitch cause it upsets the timing of hitters when they see a 95+ mph fastball to seeing a mid 70 and less mph knuckelball i came close to hitting 80 in the show 16 edition my knucker hit 79 mph with the perk that rose velocity been years since i played 16

Because they tied RTTS to DD and knuckleballs are a no-no in DD.

Starting to almost rather a KB over screwball. How a screwball has more movement than a reg curveball I have no idea.

i have done a experiment with that i have seen it also but the screwballs movement depends on release point i have rtts pitcher that made that use the tom glavin release point and his screwball looks like its goin to hang then drops at last second where as his knucklecurve will ride the release point then drop i tried a 12-6 but it was uncontrollable i couldn’t get it to hit the bottom of the zone without it bouncing past the cather even i hit perfect on the meter the only curve j saw with more late life/ fake hanging movement (which nearly makes me [censored] myself if its a close game that i pitched 7+ innings in) is the slurve idk what difference it has but that slurve i cant pitch to leftys if im a righty cause itll drill em every time
-
truthfully i think they are starting to make release points more involved now but i always like glavins his is top of the zone makes it impossible to time a 100+ mph fast ball if thats the archetype you like

The knuckle curve is available in rtts

The knuckle curve is a curveball. A knuckleball is a completely different pitch where the point is for it to have no spin.

Yeah I'm bummed about this too. I would always make a knuckleball pitcher for fun in all the past games.

imo with a knuckelball in my repertoire whether its my 3rd or 4th pitch id always avg 8-12ks a game based on what type of line up there was times i got 25ks but that was rare and when my pitchers confidence was up to where i could hit perfect on the meter 8/10 times a inning but that was rare cause my last knuckler was in the show 20 and i didn’t have success with him he only won 86 games lost 118 started 147 games had 21 quality starts 9 complete games before they decided to put me as a closer 🤨

I would crank the difficulty real low and giggle at how funny it was watching guys strike out to knuckleballs. I would usually play first base as my main save. Sometimes I just wanted to relax without much challenge and this was a fun way to pitch.
