It's an actual pitch, and one that has existed for a century. To say it shouldnt be in a video game representing baseball is incorrect. The problem has always been how they coded the pitch, not the pitch itself.

Right, but they don't know how to code the pitch, so it's better left out. When they did nerf Fierabend's knuckle last year it was useless. Would you rather have no Phil Niekro at all in DD or a useless one? That's my thought process

Right, but they don't know how to code the pitch, so it's better left out. When they did nerf Fierabend's knuckle last year it was useless. Would you rather have no Phil Niekro at all in DD or a useless one? That's my thought process
Same should apply to sinkers then. They cant code that pitch correctly either, so I guess they should remove it too.

This is a good point. 100MPH sinkers up in the zone, breaking balls that break up in the zone. But I never enjoyed facing knuckleballers in the game either so I hope if they do have Niekro or Dickey/Wakefield in the future that they will do it right

I’m glad Knckleballs are not in for the simple fact of CAPs. As I understand it the arm action is pretty different for a knuckler so you shouldn’t be able to throw 100 and then a nasty knuckleball... but you would see that every game online...
