Any mode is a s show right now. Played 6 rank games last night, everyone of my opponent center swung with contact swing or held r2 in a corner and swung with contact swing. They nerf check swings already, so it can't be to hard to nerf contact swing if they wanted to a month into the game cycle
I just honestly don’t know why we even have a fk contact swing button. Either normal, power or bunt and be done with it
If you want realism, take out the power button. Players try to make contact in 2 strike counts all the time by choking up, shorten their swing, etc. It’s way more applicable in the game than power swinging. It’s the results that are messed up, not the type

I agree with the contact swing because that happens in real life. It shouldn't be nukes in this game with the entire strike zone as the PCI. Power swing in this game does lengthen the swing/make it slower. The contact is a lot smaller so I don't have a problem with that.

Idk man. I know i've been playing a long [censored] time, and i never used power, contact, or bunted in my life. Don't even bunt with my pitcher. This contact swing cheese is on a whole different level though. It's sad that i'm sitting here thinking about my next game if i'm going to contact swing just to even the field. I'm at a disadvantage if i don't but i feel like a cheese baller if i do. This game is really in a sad state right now.

This contact swing cheese is on a whole different level though. It's sad that i'm sitting here thinking about my next game if i'm going to contact swing just to even the field. In all honesty dude, if you can’t beat’em, join’em. It really sucks but that’s the state the game is in right now. I haven’t changed the way I play. I always regular swing. The only time I use contact (this year and every other year) is if I needed to avoid a strikeout so I can advance a runner or whatnot. I’ve run into people using it in this silver event and it’s pretty pathetic

Just going back to back to back bombs with contact swing PCI having the plate and both batters boxes covered

It reminds me of 17 with power being so op. And sds did nothing and everybody had silver gallo in their lineups. I wouldn't hold my breath on a patch. I truly believe this is what sds wanted till they prove me wrong.
It was a real Schmipf-show back then.
