It’s unbelievable playing on whatever difficulty BR is with weak pitching and contact swings the way they are.
I also want to mention people that save the R2 BS for a critical pitch and sneak it in there before you start the delivery. It really does mess you up especially with pinpoint because you can already have the joystick pressed to start the pitch and it gives them the delay...so you are stuck with the joystick started and the timing of the pitch begins when they release R2.
These guys are worse than the dudes that hold R2 all game to be a holes.

I’ve never liked BR. I want to use the players I’ve worked to get on my team and not play a crapshoot 3 inning game.

BR’s gameplay is absolutely horrendous. It’s like a completely different game.

Any mode is a s show right now. Played 6 rank games last night, everyone of my opponent center swung with contact swing or held r2 in a corner and swung with contact swing. Love throwing a slider 5 feet inside that get foul off because someone is just jamming l3 inside and using contact. But i don't think sds is going to patch it. They nerf check swings already, so it can't be to hard to nerf contact swing if they wanted to a month into the game cycle

I could only play a few before I was frustrated and stopped. With the addition of the program I thought this was my year to take it serious but like 40% of balls in play are homeruns and 40% of the game is pausing and warming up players. Just chaos, I wish I liked it more because there is so much stubs sitting there.

everything is a shtshow right now with contact swings. I live in AS difficulty which I a fine with but it's brutal trying to get outs with contact swinging the way it is. I guess I could fight fire with fire and do it back but I know it's gonna get patched and I don't want to have to adjust back.

It reminds me of 17 with power being so op. And sds did nothing and everybody had silver gallo in their lineups. I wouldn't hold my breath on a patch. I truly believe this is what sds wanted till they prove me wrong.

I was on it earlier and just quit. The guy was hitting bombs out of the strike zone with a PCI that covered 80% of the strike zone. When it wasn't a bomb, the ball gets hit and you can't seem to control your fielder at all until the outfielder over runs it, I was enjoying the game up until last night. Tomorrow's update can't get here quick enough and there better be a patch for it! If not, my toxicity from 2020 just might return.

R2 is a necessary evil unless they turn balks back on for the first time since 15 or the one time they did an event with them on in 18 for a whole 2 day stretch

Why do you need R2 so much? You can hit R2 three times and someone is using pinpoint pitching. You can change when you hit the R2. This is a video game and most people do not plan to take a minute to pitch. You need 7th inning stretch too? In BR, it would be the 2nd inning stretch?
People that love toxicity in the game are usually in their mom's basement and laugh at weird things. GG man... you win the internet, but in your opinion you might think you achieved something actually amazing.

Can I include my lurking from 12 and 13 when all I did was post occasionally and skim sounds of the show downloads for franchise before it was cool to dcma everything or do I actually need a ban from that year to count it?

I just honestly don’t know why we even have a fk contact swing button. Either normal, power or bunt and be done with it
If you want realism, take out the power button. Players try to make contact in 2 strike counts all the time by choking up, shorten their swing, etc. It’s way more applicable in the game than power swinging. It’s the results that are messed up, not the type

I agree with the contact swing because that happens in real life. It shouldn't be nukes in this game with the entire strike zone as the PCI. Power swing in this game does lengthen the swing/make it slower. The contact is a lot smaller so I don't have a problem with that.
