This is probably a stupid question but……….is RTTS the only way to level up my ballplayer?

Touchpad to bring up profile ---> Loadouts. Press Square to bring up ballplayer program. (PS controls obviously...use corresponding xbox buttons if on the xbox).

Theres different missions for each loadout type...example "Slugger" is all about XBHs and innings played (DD) or PAs (RTTS). I'm at the silver and doing the fielding/power one and the missions are innings/PAs + XBHs + Putouts + assists.

You can level up his archtype (spelling?) through that, but his base stats (30) can unfortunately only be leveled up (to 50) through rtts. His archtype and equipment can only take his stats so far, but he'll never be the player he can be without leveling him up in rtts.

How far along do you have to advance your career to get the 50 baseline? Wasn't planning on playing RTTS or use CAP much, but I might use him if I get bored... I'm at gold speedster I think; maybe...

If you spend about 100k give or take on equipment and the right diamond perks he becomes a monster really quick in rtts. Turn off base run and fielding. About70 games in that counted and my dudes like mid 90s contact on both side, almost 100 power both sides and 80 vision. And I am only on the silver archetype. Goes by pretty quick tbh.

Wow....didn't know this either! I'll have to look when I get home. Seems like they could have put those missions in an easier place to find. Would have never thought to push the touchpad to find the hidden missions.

Under the Loadout screen for your ballplayer, push X (square on PS)

Then the OP is a hero, sort of for creating this thread.
Glad a few of you found out how to do the missions.
The Moment took me about 7 tries, and I do kind of well vs. Mad Max.

I'm not sure about his career, but I'm probably about 4-5 hours in, and he still has a ways to go. No batting, just simming. Some attributes don't move at all with sim only, like arm strength, base running aggressiveness, etc. However, every something like 6 or 7 games you can train (which I do but skip), and I level up the ones that simming doesn't.

I've found it's a lot of xp; nothing for simmed games, but every spot on leveling up that receives money gets 8000 xp. So that's 24000 plus the xp at the end of the level. With two pieces of diamond equipment it's no wonder prices are falling; glad I'm not working the equipment market this year. Speaking of equipment, rtts may be bugged. I have the equipment on and activated, but it's not showing up. Even though I'm simming, I know this is holding the rtts stats back.
