It seems to me that HOF and Legend speeds in custom practice and in DD are different. My question is why is that? Or is it supposed to be the same? It certainly seems different.

I have not tested custom practice vs DD on the higher levels but I do know I am seeing the same thing on AllStar or below.

I went in to hit against Snell/padres on AS and got his timing down perfect. Then go into DD and play now and his pitch speeds were not the same and I was early on everything.

Against Keegan Akin a low rated lefty on the O’s, I was trying to get 2 hernadez homers for NL west progression and I practiced against him for a bit. Go into play now again and the same curve ball I was destroying in practice now has this odd movement and is way slower.

I was hoping they would patch practice mode into DD so we could practice with our actual DD team. But if the speeds are not the same there would be no point.

They are different. You have to crank the sliders up to mimic online speeds.

Pretty annoying that difficulties are not EXACTLY the same across the different modes. AS should feel the same whether in practice mode, moments, RTTS, online rated, play a friend, events, and RS. Same with HOF and Legend.

Yeah I wish the pitch speeds were the same everywhere, just adjust the timing window to make it easier or harder.

I think you need to go one difficulty higher in CP to match the speed online, so practice on HOF for AS online, etc.
