2nd Inning Bosses

Glitches aside that decrease is normal. Next week they’ll be 30K likely

That's not normal. Did Griffey go down to 30K last year?
-
Early bosses drop more than latter innings. I never finished a program and got all the awards before. I did with the first inning and got the 2nd inning boss yesterday. I will most likely finish this one as well. Seems easier to me than with the stars.

No, but Hanley, Feller, and Joe Carter did

Griffey came out as the final boss when everyone was flush with stubs. It’s called inflation. Right now there isn’t a ton of stubs in supply and so a lot of prices are depressed. It’s why you can buy a BR card for 70K right now....
-
I did the lock in Of first inning bosses but I don’t glitch and I’m almost at 350k. But I did agree they should get rid of the glitches.

What's the point in doing conquest maps, player programs and showdowns if you can get the bosses within an hour? The reason the price of the bosses are going down is due to everyone having them by using XP glitches. Just ruins the value of the card.

I got to 350K as well. The people who used the glitch though got there when it released.

This stuff happened in previous years as well. Some people would be able to get the bosses the first night by playing all night.

I mean if you watched the 1st inning bosses they all were high to start then lowered as everyone began unlocking them then right near the end of the program the prices went up again since there wouldn't be anyone unlocking them anymore. Even last year most of the early inning bosses stayed cheap and it wasn't really until that Larry Walker came out that prices began staying high.

"Siri, how does the money supply work?"

They just need to go back to stars. Cap the amount you can receive for certain games. Etc..

Doesn’t matter, people still exploited it. People had bosses after couple hours last year too

Back in 19 when they first started doing the innings programs, people were doing the exact same thing as they do now. SDS initially combated it by resetting servers 30-60 mins before program dropped. That fixed the issue short term, but can’t believe it’s going on the third year and they still haven’t completely fixed it. Tells me they just don’t care. It’s part of the game now and can’t worry about what others are doing.

I got there last night just playing. No "glitches". Wouldnt know how to do that anyways.

This isn’t at all why BR cards are 70k right now. BR 12-0 cards are 70k because it’s actually a 40 win reward.
Bosses were this cheap the day before the program ended last year, not the day after it came out. SDS needs to add more XP for people that actually play the game, not have X tapped down while they go to work.
There is no argument, if you don’t boost you should have no issue earning them quicker and making more stubs if you choose to sell. IF you somehow have an issue with additional missions for XP it’s because your boosting.

Agree to disagree. Basic economics as this is a zero sum game closed economy. The amount of stubs in circulation will dictate the prices of cards.....

Fair enough. I figure with a cap on stars it would take longer. Ex. 7 per ranked win 5 per loss. 2 per conquest. 4 per 9inning CPU game... Stuff like that. But you're right, someone will find a way
-
The collections, conquest map and showdowns were worth more to last year. I think the bosses from the previous inning got you like 75 stars, etc.

Seriously.
It also is supply and demand. Lots of people are playing right now. Means more boss cards unlocked and in circulation. By inning three or four I’m assuming half the players won’t be playing anymore.
