Playing up on Legend
-
When SDS first announced that the higher rated player would dictate the game difficulty, I was pretty happy because of all of the frustrating 700+ games on AS I played last year where each team scored 10+. Now I've played 2 games to get to WS on legend, my first 2 legend games this year. I've put up a fight both times, but 2 hit games with 15ish strikeouts isn't my idea of fun, and it's really not what I think people trying to make WS should be facing.

Update. I made WS playing a guy at 910 who quit after his first 6 struck out vs kopeck. I feel like there’s no good reason for guys on the bubble to play up on legend.

So when you're on the bubble for WS and the lower tier opponent, they should be playing on your difficulty? You think SDS should go back to the old system and play in AS hell until who knows when...depending on the opponent's rating? I don't think that would be a good idea. People have been complaining about that for years and SDS finally changed it.

I mean a middle ground would be to play higher division if one HOF and 1 allstar and on the lower players difficulty if HOF/ Legend, but it's fine how it is now IMO

If I ever made it that high I'd want to compete at the higher level. It wouldn't feel as good to win if I knew it was because slower pitch speeds messed up someone who hadn't played that way in ages. I'd probably lose but even making it that far would be an accomplishment for me as I've only been as high as WC before.

I kinda agree, but I could also see higher tier players complaining about that. Just like people on HOF complaining about playing in AS. Domino effect.
