What happened to hitting

Hitting is fine. You probably just moved up from AS to HOF or something is all.
Playing BR. And that's 6 in a row now

In ranked on HOF I notice giving up a lot more hits on weak contact. The amount of jammed and early hits has been pretty alarming especially on pitches out of the zone. Also, bunting needs to be nerfed, twice yesterday I switched to bunt defense and brought my 2B in halfway to defend the bunt and a drag bunt popped over my 1B's head. I thought bumping to HOF would reduce the cheap hits, but pretty sure its just people using contact swing. Perfect and early resulting in most homers and extra base hits. Good timing and squared up pci seems to result in a lot of fly outs and line outs. I have also had a lot of "perfect" foul balls the last few days, sometimes it changes the feedback and sometimes it stays perfect.

I've had 3 perfect foulballs the last week. 6 Perfect outs in a row. And the frustrating part like you say is the jammed hits and horrible placement hits i'm giving up. In a BR game yesterday i was down 2-0 after 4 pitches. an 11 PCI gapper double to the wall. a 12 jam shot single and another 11 PCI smoked double

7 in a row..... effing 7 perfects all for outs in a row. GG SDS. Way to "change the game"

I have been having some really bad luck too man. I normally breeze into WS. I hit 875 rating at 24-1 and have gone 3-6 since. I lost 6 games all of MLB 20. 4 of my losses are by 1 run where I had the lead and was taking way better swings and at bats all game. Then the classic couple bloops and early timing homer. My only 3 wins these past few days are when I go up big early and they quit. If they stick it out, my good swings start resulting in outs and they learn how to hit in the 8th and 9th innings. I don't know if its contact swing or if pitcher confidence is too influential.

I'm sorry but they secretly tuned the game in last update all perfect/perfects are out the announcers even do the no doubt hr call just for it to be caught, the cpu can get bad swing timing bad contact and blast hr's i get perfect perfect and it gets caught everytime gtfo

I said it from day 1, PP BABIP is WAY lower this year than it was last year. Since early release I've had about 50% of PP's be outs, and lots of PP fly balls by power hitters in all wind conditions be warning track outs.
There's a lot more "fielder magnetism" this year than in previous years, it seems.
Might just be perception and bad luck, of course. But the sample size is slowly growing to where I don't think that's the case.

I might need to change my camera angle, if you mean what I think you mean, because I'm convinced some of the CPU fielders couldn't possibly catch some of my P/P liners unless they were already running as I was swinging the bat

In your games played this morning, you were 4-8 on perfect perfects. Not exactly 7 outs in a row. It's still not ideal, but game history never lies. You do

I think I had two there at the end. But I started out 0-4 I think. So it felt like an eternity. lol

So where did the 7 in a row come from?
-
I think I had some last night too. Even still would I be the first person to ever exaggerate on this forum? LOL. I'll look at my game history but I'm pretty sure there were a lot last night.

Also.... where are you seeing this? Doesn't show that in the game history ?

A person's perception of reality RARELY matches the facts. This is why "eye-witnesses" cannot be relied on, why police line-ups are BS, and why it seems like someone is "lying".
Take everything with a grain of salt, his observations are still valid, just exaggerated because of passion and frustration - it happens to all of us.
-
I am very happy with the way the game has played to this point. It's never ever ever going to please everyone. Take some of the flaws and just accept it - that's my mindset.

Absolutely what it was ! lol. Seriously was really frustrated at my hitting and seemed honestly like there was way more than what it was !

Yeah great mindset. I have had a rough patch of terrible luck, that has cost me wins in some very frustrating games the past few days. I have always been competitive in everything, but I am learning to take a step back, maybe take a day off from playing. Need to remember it is a baseball video game and it is supposed to be fun, not stressful.

It just seems like if you’re going to do updates on each one that there would actually be logic involved with coming up with the numbers instead of just starting with a random number and going from there.

There is no logic in this game
