Conquest mode is way to hard now. Can’t steal enough fans. CPU always finds a way to win its extremely frustrating. Might just play fifa instead

I must admit I did play today and my bats seemed a little nerfed, but I chalked it up to me playing bad. But even playing bad I don't think I lost a game.

It's really not hard at all.. if you can beat the cpu consistently on all-star (I rarely or ever even need to go there), then it's simple.
You just attack attack attack. You never leave more than 1 on every hexagon. Go right for the strongholds, and once you beat that stronghold take up as much hexagons as possible to gain more fans per turn. (They don't attack if you knock their stronghold out).

If you do this method, you'll never have to play on anything but veteran or rookie, and if you can't beat CPU on that with a solid DD team, then nobody can help you.

Don't build up fans anywhere other than the attack hexagon you're moving around.
I've never even had to defend a stronghold in 2 or 3 iterations of this game with this method.

Even if you somehow lose a game, which should be rare even for an average player, just do it again. You lose nothing but 1 fan as the attacker

The biggest issue is the sim AI. I attacked a space today with 1 "fan". I had 74 Fans. When I finally won, I had 2 fans left. I lost 72 fans, this happens often. Come on SDS, get it figured out.

Protect your stronghold and decide whichever direction you're heading to and start building walls of 15 at a time. It gets very easy after that.
Ia almost done with Nation of baseball for the 2nd time.

I rarely do steal fans at all except to reach any goal(s) there are and you can wait to do that.
I spend the early game taking every hex on the map I can by auto attacking and keep building up reinforcements.
The more hexes you own, the more reinforcements you get each turn.

Take every blank hex you can and every hex with 1 or 2, SKIP steal fans, get reinforcements, rinse and repeat.
Yeah the cpu will take back the odd hex but no big deal to get them back.

it won't take to long before you are getting so many reinforcements that when you do battle you can blow threw everything playing on rookie.
You can get next to a stronghold and just sit there building up reinforcements until you have enough to go in rookie.

When it does come to attacking the cpu always start your 5th OVR SP because the cpu team will do the same. The cpu always starts #1 vs #1, etc. It's not based on the spot you have them in the rotation, it's based on the OVRs. No point in going against deGrom if you don't have to!
You've always be going against nothing better then a silver SP.
Have 1 or 2 stud RP and get your starter out asap if need be.

If you've waited to battle on rookie it won't matter much how good your #5 starter is, I'm sure he'll be gold and you can almost always easily get him through the 1st inning on rookie.

My team is strong enough that I virtually never lose on all-star and can win more often then not on HOF but I still usually just use the above method to get the maps done.
