I thought it was perfect fly, perfect liner, perfect grounder (hitting the dot)
This is the answer
Well yes, but the size depends on the type of hitter

Ahhhhhh....
So if you're trying to hit a home run, you need to line the ball up with the biggest dot or the biggest line? That would give you a fly ball right?
Line it up with the smallest, you get a grounder, do I have it right?

No, top for fly, middle for liner, bottom for grounder. The size of the dots/lines is the type of hitter: Gallo will have the top one bigger; Mookie the middle one and Madrigal the lower one; look at the bottom of a player’s card art to see hitter type: power, balanced, contact

top one is for power, middle is for contact, bottom is for normal... for example if your swinging power hit the top one, contact aim for middle, and so on.... now they do vary in sizes if your player is a power hitter the top one is the largest, contact then the middle will be larger... so aim for which dot is the largest and swing accordingly
Are you sure? I thought top one was power rating, middle was contact rating, and lower was vision rating.

No, vision is the outer PCI, contact inner PCI and dots go power-balanced-contact for size, and fly-drive and grounder for results

Remember when games came with an explanation manual?? lol
There are several people in this very thread who think the lines mean different thing... where the heck is the manual?thanks BTW

Ahh ok....so when trying to hit Homer, always try to lineup with the top. The power hitters will have a bigger top, weaker hitters will have a smaller top?

There's text in the game options menu about it but it doesn't explain it very well...leaves some quesrions.
