When did they change showdown rewards?
-
Am I imagining this, or did they replace the first “red” showdown reward from a show pack to a silver pack?
-
yes, they changed them. I am not 100% sure that I know when but it was sometime around the time that patched the hitting to be harder.

And you also get less stubs.
500 instead of 700.
Insane.

So basically they removed 1700 stubs worth of product from showdown rewards.

Yup less stubs and no more pack but now here’s a lovely silver pack instead . Can’t have people farming that lovely free pack over and over now We know diamonds where flying out of them . Ones Youtubers started making Videos on it I knew it was a matter of time before it would be removed .

All these little moves are so infuriating. Do they really not care about their customers?
-
They do this stuff every year, subtle changes to the reward structure after the first week or so. Last year they changed the rate of inning program stars earned from playing games. I guess they figure announcing such changes will just result in a [censored] fest
-
My thing is, why change it? OK, so guys are getting a few too many stubs or packs, or particularly good cards in packs. Is that a bad thing?
-
Showdown's were meant for one thing, to eat stubs from the less experienced players. They're hoping that you'll pay more money for more stubs. When people figured out that you could break even, they had to change it or else their scam wouldn't work anymore.
-
To be completely honest, I was surprised that they offered a pack and a even return on your stubs for only few minutes of playing with a high rate of success. Still a bit salty they changed it in their usual sneaky fashion.
-
Instead of switching the pack after the first time to stop the farmers exploiting it, they stop everyone. And that kids is how you spell C-H-E-A-P.
-
At least keep the stub reward as it was so we can reasonably be assured that we get our investment back
