I’m hitting like 10-14 hits a game since the last patch. All kind of different hits.
And I’m average. Give it some time.

I actually have no problem with the hitting, never did this year, my issue is with pitching and how its become even more random than last year. Perfect releases I imagine are to replicate a pitcher throwing a pitch with perfect mechanics, and usually when they do throw a pitch with perfect mechanics it hits its spot or at least ends up pretty close to it, in this game a perfect release either ends up a hanger or misses its spot completely, which if you ask me takes away from some of the skill of hitting, I have had some success in the few games I have bothered to play this year just waiting with the PCI in the centre of the plate for my opponents pitcher to throw me a meatball every 10 pitches.

I thought that too , enjoyed the first 5 games after the patch. today I'm either smashing many home runs in the game getting 7-12 in conquest , or everything is good /okay and straight at fielders,exit velos all under 85 , balls with pwr guys not even getting to the track on good swings,etc.
not my problem any more as I tried 1st inning showdown to see if extra runs to earn made it different, and had to face diamond Oswalt with 3 good hitters and rest under 50 stats bronzes, 2nd challenge arenado hit a FB that nearly bounced that got the comment how did he hit that ,for a homer to fail, 3 Rd challenge a slider aimed away somehow goes across and hits him in k him challenge. then faced oberg,4 runs in 6 outs, first 3- dia gold and silver hit ball well, 1 run 1st and 3rd. next guy hits to in front of bullpen in Coors and tapia throws a 58 spd guy out from warning track in right center. then a double play, and at em balls after that.
furious I deleted game off hard drive.
don't want to play mto, 50 games each team to get affinity or lots of stubs for exchange is ridiculous, and since inning programs will be based on this showdown [censored] I guess I'm not reinstalling any time soon.so great SDS I paid 100 bucks for only 5 days of enjoyment. -

the sad part is, I have kind of found a work around the pitching command problem, just end up slightly late or slightly early and it actually hits its spot, but a perfect release ends up as a meatball, so as backwards as it sounds don't try to hit perfect releases.

because we asked them to fix pitching, so of course they changed hitting, just like last year when people asked them to fix fielding animation bugs and they in turn, changed hitting.
Simply put...SDS logic...

all they had to do was increase FB pitch speeds and decrease the PCI but no they had to go mess around with the hitting engine that they clearly havent figured out yet.

Funny my brother watched me play online rated and custom leagues and that is literally the only runs scored solo HR derby

There's something wrong with the timing window. That's what people are complaining about. I can live with the somewhat RNG outcomes of squaring up a ball if we get a high % of success.
I can't live with inconsistent timing windows

My biggest problem isn't with the homeruns its pitching being so awful and the fact with a good pci ball dead center you still receive good ok at an exponential rate. Good input should be rewarded. Even with pitching which is all over the place. You can't locate

If pitchers didn’t throw [censored] over the middle of the plate all the time it would be a reduced number. At least the pitch speeds are faster cuz then it would be MLB 18 all over again
