Online is still just a horrible place

Aside from all the server issues and wins not counting. Online is just horrible. It's exactly the same game as last year. " User input matters more than ever" and " competitive mode" are the biggest bunch of [censored] they've ever sold us.
Giving up a 2 run 12 PCI HR off the end of the bat on a cutter off of the plate is neither good user input or competitive. It's just embarrassing that they try to pass it as that.
Not really sure why I was hoping this year would be different, but it's just the same horrendous game play year in and year out.

I’m sorry dude but 12 PCI isn’t bad placement at all. Not every hit and hr in baseball is a perfectly squared up hit which would be 15 in this game
I will agree that hard hits on balls completely out of the strike zone shouldn’t be as prevalent though

Yeah I just kinda think the feedback is broken. It has been for the past 3-4 years so I don’t see why it would work now lol

Right. I means it's pretty obvious it's the same game as last year with like 3 extra bells and whistles and horrible server issues lol. Not sure why I would expect differnet.

Really dude? Off the plate? Lmao. This game is straight trash when it comes to ball physics. And the fact they have guys on there team at sds who have played the game, and they still can't figure it out, is ridiculous

I actually can't play baseball! I'm in ontario Canada! We are in a lockdown. I miss team sports. Im 42 I've played baseball from 8 years old till covid! I miss it so much! My only baseball option is watch mlb or play this video game! So maybe think before u speak Mr. Lol

Also yea the game feels is more random every year. Perfect-perfect ground outs where people aren’t even close with early/late timing and they are homers

A "12 PCI" is rating on how the PCI placement is for a ball that's hit. 12 is decent, 15 is the highest number you can get before getting a perfect rating.
Basically, the OP is saying his opponent is getting a ton of hits off mediocre PCI placement. I can totally believe it without even watching any video, this game is very similar to last year's hitting.
