sliders stealthily changed?

Offline vs CPU Sliders in Showdown, Moments, or whatever is always being buffed and manipulated and that is nothing new.
What matters most is that they leave online h2h alone. Hopefully they do not need to touch online competitive modes, at all, this year.

Let me see if I can keep up with the conspiracy theories
- Sliders stealth changed.
- Topps Now Rigged.
- Conquest's difficulty has been upped.
- Showdowns fielders have all been buffed.
- There is comeback code online.
I feel like I am missing a few.
Conquest does feel a bit more difficult this year though lol, not that I think its a bad thing, it may not be more difficult but the AI certainly feels more aggressive.

I still finished the US conquest map in 28 turns, never had to defend a stronghold, and never played a game above Veteran, except possibly capturing my first stronghold (Colorado).

I have yet to have to defend a stronghold myself, but i have noticed the cpu taking/attempting to take back more hexes than previous years. Like I said I don’t think its a bad thing, just feels like the AI is more aggressive than in the past.

I’ll try again later tonight and see how it feels. I’ve played probably close to 100 CPU full games since release. I finished the First Inning Program completely. I’ve finished all collections, have 3 superfractor pitchers, Acuna superfractor, Trout close to max, Freeman close to Max, Soriano close to max, Chipper, and have hit homers with every pitcher I’ve been using regularly. It’s not like I don’t have elite players or don’t know what hitting against the CPU feels like. I was also at Coors when I noticed how weak hits were and how few pitches the CPU was throwing into the zone compared to the rest of the games I’ve played. When I go from scoring 35 runs against the rookie CPU to struggling to score 5 with the same team, I suspect something in the game has changed. It was a small sample size. Maybe it will go back to normal tonight when I play. I just haven’t struggled at all in any CPU game all year until 3pm today. I think even this morning I got 40+ hits in a game. My average game is over 20 runs with over 25 hits, 8+ homers. Been getting my cards paralleled up before even thinking about playing online this year.

Heck, I played the CPU on rookie to complete some TA missions and it felt like Rookie was on the juice...lol. Felt like you were hitting an iron ball!

I thought offline felt different today too.

Played another game at Coors which didn’t count because of servers, but once again I got a third as many hits as I usually do. Still pitched a perfect game but not many homers and lots of pop outs with Trout and Acuna and the boys. Best I can tell the main difference is that the opposing pitchers are throwing way fewer strikes and exit velocity off bats is significantly less than it was. Not a conspiracy theory. This is eye test material. There’s no way I’ll lose to the CPU on lower difficulty but it’s gonna be harder to grind the stats and that’s the main thing I’ve been doing. I’ve topped out my First Inning XP so leveling up cards and just wanting casual fun games are only reason I’m playing the CPU. Sure hope their constant tweaking isn’t gonna be a thing again this year when things are playing good. They ruined gameplay shortly after release the last 2 years (and it took awhile to start having fun again). Hoping this year isn’t gonna go that way on top of poor server connections.

Double post wasn’t my fault and site won’t allow me to delete.
