Conquest Map Glitch

Same here. Going after last stronghold. You can guess which it is. Lol
I can play the market just fine. Can't play conquest though. Eh.

I didn’t have this happen surprisingly. I was able to get thru all of the conquest maps. I did have it say server error after the game was finished but they counted every time

Umbrella on Angels as well. Afraid glitch won't get fixed before 1st inning is over and could really use the xp. Any word on a fix from SDS? Haven't found anything.

It’s kind of surprising that sds has not even acknowledged that they are aware of this issue.

does anyone know if restarting helps? maybe go for angels right out of the gate?

I can confirm the Angels Hexagon in the Umbrella is bugged. My buddy just ran right into it.
If you are getting this bug, send in a bug report with a screenshot of the hexagon in question.
As a programming guy, I have no idea how anything related to either the central affinity or the umbrella conquest map would have had lines if code touched.
DO NOT restart your map!
Edit Double confirmation. Two people, same hex. Same crash. Stuff like this makes my head hurt.

Nope do not restart it. It's a bug with the hex itself.
You can't sim it or play it.

ok thanks. I had plenty of free hexes to move to since I went straight for strongholds. I can attack any other one just fine but it will not allow an angels territory to be touched. didn't think it would work but I had to ask. thanks.

I'm guessing that there is a problem with the Angels roster that would cause a sim or game challenge to fail.
Roster update might have given the Angels an invalid roster for the conquest engine.
I'm 99.44% sure it's a roster issue with the 3pm EST update that is causing the engine to fail a challenge or sim.

It's not actually the hex, though, because I conquered the hex and the Angels stronghold even. They captured it back and that's when it became glitched

I'm working this realtime based on feedback.
Had you touched this map prior to today's roster update?

I believe it has to do with the update. I was trying to get through the map when the update happened today. Was able to get all but a few hexes including Angels stronghold but I beat that around noon central. Then I went after the Rockies for a bit but the glitched spaces are in the Angels area and I didn't go for those till the end after all strongholds were conquered. Only encountered the error while trying to sim the last remaining spaces.

I cannot play the cubs in the regular US conquest map. Even tried to steal fans from the cubs and it gives me the error as well.

Yep. This confirms that there is an issue with the roster update causing the Cubs and Angels to have an invalid roster for the sim engine. Even selecting to play the game will fail out.
If anybody is in the game and can try to launch a play VS CPU game against the Cubs or Angels and report that you got booted, I'd feel 100% confident.
I'm about an hour away from getting to my console to check.

I have reported the bug a bit ago also. I won't be restarting it as i need one strong hold and 9 other angel territory's to complete challenges and conquest is already such a slow game mode

If you are able to, please try to start a game vs CPU Anaheim and see if it boots you. Don't use a good roster if you worry about your record vs the CPU. Heh

Sds please fix before 1st inning is over! Or extend how long it will be before the maps expire. If anyone can't compete the main maps you can afford to sit and wait for a fix. Unfortunately unlike last year with the map's expiring those of us waiting on Umbrella map may be screwed.
