XP After Completing 1st Inning...?
-
I completed the program yesterday. Am I to assume that any XP I earn now simply evaporates and applies to nothing? Since there's no general XP progression rewards like last year and all XP is now tied to inning programs?
SERIOUSLY?
This is a problem, SDS.
-
It isn't a problem.

I agree. I'll finish it today, and I don't have a problem with xp not going towards anything after that. Frankly, I'm just thrilled to be grabbing the LS diamond at 650, as well as the rest of the loot after the bosses. That, and eagerly looking forward to inning 2.

Yeah, I agree. It’s kinda crappy that XP is useless for the next week because the first inning is over. Seems like there should be something else it could go to....don’t understand why they took the XP path away..

It's gone, because it's not needed. I don't think a lot of people here quite grasp just how much stuff SDS is giving away, through all the various DD play avenues.

I just don't think anyone quite grasps how to whole thing works yet. Other than Kershaw, Gwynn, and Frank in 19 and literally just Kluber in 20 the XP path was more or less a waste. We didn't get stars toward the next program if the current one was maxed out in years past, we didn't get TA progress after each one is maxed. If people treated this years XP like program stars and that's it then we wouldn't even see these posts. Not having XP for collections or RS isn't an issue either. The only problems with the way XP is used this year is it not tallying correctly at times. It's easy to get the inning boss and even max out the program when it works correctly

Totally agree, I think people are idealising what was in the XP reward path last year. You could spend 8 hours grinding just to get a standard pack at times and most of the 99s were useless by the time you got to them.
-
Go finish up the TAs if you haven't already, and if you have it's time to take your rewards into RS
-
It's also not unprecedented for SDS to add stuff to programs toward the end of the cycle if they suspect that microtransactions and played hours are down. The "secret" prestige XP path last year was basically this.
-
I understand WHY if you got to end of the path and you want the EXP to count for something then do this and it's nothing big but it's something .....
Make a repeatable at the very end for like every 50k XP you get a Balling is a habit pack or 2 free reg packs something
-
I don't really see ot as a problem. You will be getting XP towards parralells and any other player progression (RTTS)... Just pretend like they're stars... You earned all the stars, man. There will be more next week

All good points. Thx for the responses. As a longtime RPG guy, I guess it's just hard for me to earn XP and have it not mean anything...

So what do you do when you hit the level cap in a RPG? You gain xp still but it does nothing for you. I don’t wanna hear it. Go play ranked and quit complaining
