Inning Bosses

Any progress for inning one stays with inning one. Does not carry over

Last year you got an inning voucher for the next inning if you collected all 3 of the prior inning bosses. Just wondering if we've heard if that will continue

I think he means the way we got a 75 star bonus (or a voucher or whatever) last year if we locked in all 3 biznosses.

Oh gotcha that makes sense. I would assume so

I haven't played The Show for a few years. What exactly does that mean "75 star bonus (or voucher) for the next inning program?
And by "locked in" you mean collect them making them no sell correct? Thanks

In the past couple years at least, you would get a bonus on the following inning if you collected all 3 bosses so they are no longer sellable. It will be different this year because they XP scale is different, but the last couple years you would get 75 “stars” to start off the next inning. It only took 300 stars to get to the bosses, so collecting all three got you a 25% head start when the next inning dropped.

Got it. Thanks.
I've had Lofton and Piazza on my team for several days now so I guess I might as well grab Fernando as well and wait and see before I lock them all.Although I found it quite easy to get to the bosses in the 1st ing. I started with early access and have over 600k xp right now.

There is no reason to assume there won't be a collection of the 3 bosses for inning 2

There's also no reason to assume there will be. I will prepare myself as if it will be there but I won't be surprised if they do not have that this year with the change in how the innings work.

Other than the switch to XP and the programs having a hard cut off date nothing has changed. In both 19 and 20 the 1st inning had you collect the preorder cards. Same with 21. 2nd inning will be collect the 1st inning bosses and so on. While the XP and hard cut off date are changes, the rest of the program and how you acquire XP/cards is exactly the same as before

And both of those years we could see that jump start set in advance of the next inning. We cannot this year. So like I said I'm not assuming anything but I'll prepare as if it will be there. Also I'd like to mention last year it was 75 stars aka 25% of that innings requirement for the bosses. Seeing how they nerfed everything else when converting to XP IF the set is there don't be surprised if it's 35k XP or less. At that point will it even be worth doing?

It will be 50k. Just like the collect the preorders. They just did away from the vouchers to not clog up the collections screen like there was before. It's really not that deep. The "nerfed" XP wouldn't seem so bad if in game XP was tallying correctly. And to add to that stars earned from gameplay last year was 1 star per 2,000 XP or .33% of the program. This year 2000 XP is .57% of the program. So while the 1 time boosts are less, the XP % toward the program from gameplay almost doubled(when tallying correctly)
