Can't these video game companies leverage scalable server capacity? Like don't they anticipate heavy server loads after launch, but then can reduce the server capacity later on after the game hype levels off?

They really should compensate people that paid for early access as well as everybody that currently has game. More compensation for people who paid for early access though.

Should and doing a two different things. The only think that could fix this would be not purchasing next years product. Unfortunately, SDS has a monopoly on baseball video games right now. Maybe if the MLB pulled thier licencing agreement that might make a difference.

In a contract, can’t just pull it. I would never want them to stop making baseball games. I want 3-4 different companies making baseball games. More companies equals better products.
