Agreed, and the room for error and still "dotting" your pitch is kind of insane lol

Has not been my experience at all in RS, anything other than "Perfect!" Input feedback, even all green good, is all over the place and grooved.

It's easy to get but grooving a pitch because I'm 0.10 seconds early on release is just irritating to me.

That’s why I make sure I don’t release early, I’d rather be on the later side of perfect so it goes in the dirt if I miss my perfect input

This. Aim high, aim early. Aim low, aim late.

I did notice that the penalty for missing something for just even that miniscule amount of time is pretty noticeable though. You have to be almost perfect.

If I could adjust my aim like that I would just be perfect... We are talking about 0.10 seconds lol...

I've been a meter guy since MVP baseball but I tried pinpoint during the tech test and I'm sold. It takes a little while to get used to but once you are used to it you can reliably put a fastball 3 inches above the zone or a slider just below the knees. I've mostly played on all star so far but if it's not significantly harder on HOF and legend then I hope they nerf it at some point because it feels too easy to put the ball where you want

I have no issues putting pitches where I want them to go with meter I pitch pretty good on ALL star. I usually have issues hitting but this year i am hitting the best I have ever hit in DD so far. My record is usually at 500 or below. I am currently at 19-8 I think.

Not sure if it is control, BB/9 or both but something has an effect on pinpoint pitching also. I would be a lot of money if you did a test Hershiser's pinpoint would be a great deal better than Nolan Ryan's.

Chapman's 79 hangs a ton of pitches but hit control and bb/9 are garbage which makes sense.

This. And if you want to hit an outside pitch to a right hand batter, make sure you go right of the circle and not left.
