Stealing bags tips

So without showtime I’m a bit helpless... any pro tips in stealing bags??
-
Always hold the left stick toward the bag until you are ready to go. Lean toward the bag you are trying to steal by holding the right bumper. Take an extra lead. Figure out when they will likely throw breaking stuff and when they start their pitching motion.

Thanks! I’ll try the bumper. I do everything else and almost always get a negative stealing icon even if I take the bag,......

You have to move quickly as soon as he starts his wind up. If he twitches you go. Try watching his feet. That might give you a better idea.

I used to watch the pitcher and try and guess when to take off... I was looking at the wrong thing. Do exactly what @TheBootMan88 said but don't look at the pitcher. Instead, try looking at the catcher. The moment the catcher starts to move take off. The opposing catcher always shifts a little bit before the pitcher throws his pitch. By doing this you can get the best jump possible every time.

I look at the catcher. He always adjusts his position just before the pitcher goes into their delivery. First move from the catcher, I go.

Yes, looking at the catcher helps a ton
