This patch ruined the game.

Thanks SDS!! Was looking forward to playing all weekend, now we’re left with the worst hitting mechanics I’ve ever seen in a Show game. Nothing feels fluid now, it feels clunky and just a horrible all around experience.
I was so excited for this year’s game and this just killed it. This sucks so bad.

I won't go that far as I have not played post patch yet but my enthusiasm is dampened by them nerfing hitting, which will make already difficult Showdowns more difficult, instead of fixing bugs like a large majority of us not able to advance our stat missions for the Evolution and Granderson missions.

Dude it’s terrible. Wait and see. So frustrating.

Pitching is so easy now. I threw a shutout without even trying hard against a good opponent.
Like legit easy. He didn’t make one perfect/perfect all game and he hit on the button a bunch.
I felt like messaging him after the game and saying this sucks. Neither of us did anything better than the other was decided by two fluke HRs.

I'm gonna keep my opinion to myself for now because I'm at work and won't be able to experience it myself until later today, but I do find it hard to believe that they "ruined" the game through 1 patch to the extreme that it has become "unplayable".

Yeah what he said was a bit extreme. I don’t find it as bad as that. But what I do see them needing to fix is the pitching. As bad as I thought last years was for player input, this year is creme of the crop and I wish I didn’t take mlb 19 for granted lol.

Pitching has been awful since 18 imo. I used to be a good pitcher but my ERA has been 4-5 in recent years. So how much worse could it have become?

Hitting needed fixing in the worst way!!! Vision for losers like the gallo card or Muncy were insane you couldn’t even pitch to them! Hader and Chapman were useless!! Hopefully now they can make it back to my roster!
