Showdown is so broken...base runner disappears leading to loss

happened to me too, luckily still won the final showdown boss. but i didn’t get my vouchers. i’ve completed the TA showdown twice but not gotten my vouchers, I am 10 short

lost a few showdown thanks to base runner disappearing as well... what an excellent game

yep, this is basically what happened to me. Hit a 3 run HR but only counted as 2. ended up losing 12-12

I haven't seen that once since I started playing showdown the on pre-release and I have played a LOT of showdown.
Post a video so SDS can see and hopefully fix
Tried. The replay was glitched out. I also had it happen in a mini boss where I hit a two run homer and it only counted one run.
I think the issue was that the on deck batter was still in third base in this case.
I don’t know though, but it’s freaking unacceptable.
Are you on xbox or ps4? On ps4/5 you hit the share button and save a short video of the previous mins. Works as a great just in case.

Ok so this is not a glitch. This occurs when that base runner comes up to hit. For example, if I hit a triple with Trout but then make 8 outs in a row, Trout needs to get off of third base to hit.
Just pay attention and it shouldn’t come into affect that much

its a glitch, the baserunner is meant to be auto replaced with another runner

I thought I had been playing to much and lost my mind yesterday while doing a Showdown. I went into the last inning of the Stanton challenge thinking a hit was all I needed to complete 6 total bases and kinda mailed it in, well I got the hit but instead of ending Garrett Cole had a fresh batch of stick'em and I needed 2 more total bases. I was positive that I was right but since it stated I was 2 short figured I had to have missed something. This is what must have happened, I have played a lot of Showdown since last week but I knew I wasn't crazy.

Also I should add Showdown is great and by far the most entertaining game mode I can an ever remember playing on any game. I typically hate playing the computer in conquest or on long programs like we have had the last couple years, SS in for Vlad in 19 and Babe was a long one as well the cards were worth the grind but the grind sucked. Showdown though, for me has a life of it's own the computer comes to play any pitcher no matter who it is is capable of doing things on the mound nobody has ever seen any player that steps on the field will scale the highest fence or dive for a ball and catch it no matter how improbable it may seem. I think Showdown might've alive and it senses fear and if you show fear your done. Last year early in the game cycle is when I knew Showdown was something different, Matthew Boyd winked at me after starring at me for what felt like forever. That wink disturbed me and distracted me long enough for him to dot me up and beat me. After getting over being winked at and accepting Showdown was not to be taken lightly I realized it was easily the most fun I ever had play vs. what they tell us is the CPU. I call BS but I understand why it must be kept secret. Showdown is a wierd place were strange things happen Good Luck everyone and remember if you see a pitcher wink at you not to let it distract you stay focused

Had this happen to me yesterday - didnt notice till to late to clip - thought i had made a mistake and accidently sent the runner on a line drive but didnt show up in the game log at all.
Hopefully the dev's see this and take a look into it because it is definitely super annoying
