Conquest on Steroids

They are also very aggressive in taking back territory. I’ve always enjoyed conquest, at least playing the games. The territory sim part has been stale for years. It just feels like a time sink to ensure you put “x” hours in. Now it is even more monotonous. Conquest truly needs an overhaul.

None of that worried me because even though it does get frustrating Ive only ever lost a conquest map once in year. I do wish they would add something so I can choose how far I want to move in a turn and then just skip it all and tel me how many fans I have left there. Would speed it up tremendously and let’s be honest nobody is having fan watching the sim screen.

I really like that conquest is using pitcher roulette for the cpu this year. In years past you always faced the staff ace when taking a stronghold.

They need to just make it where if you have more fans that the other when simulating it's an automatic win.
All the sims do is create an experience where the gamer is spamming X and watching the sim delete numbers.
Give the win and move on. Conquest is easy either way so why not take the time consuming part out of it so people have a more enjoyable gaming experience.

I don’t think it’s roulette?. I think it’s based on your pitchers skill. You pick your ace so do they. You pick your lowest they pick theirs. Lots of time it’s a common or bronze. I always pick my lowest for that reason.

It they could just make the simmimg much fast that would be nice! Like have an overall button to press that says "sim mode", then each territory would only be one button to sim, instead of 3 now.

Yes. Lot of “upsets”. I’m on the verge of a Conquest burnout as I’ve done all of them and halfway thru USA for 2nd time. But it’s a very XP friendly mode right now and allows me to grind multiple things at once. Got me over 500K XP already but it’s been a lot, lot of games.
How do you have all the XP? Is it from playing mainly conquest? I've jumped into ranked seasons a little more at this point in the cycle compared to last year to see if I can get more, and it's not been a major boost. Only real boost came from the daily missions.

If you choose 1 to 5 in the rotation, the CPU chooses the same but if you choose a relief pitcher, yes it's a roulette like before.

Its not a roulette. It's based off the SP slot you choose. If you pick your 3rd starter, so does the cpu

The sim part has been great for me. But some games on Allstar or above the CPU just hits homers for days

Yes, Conquest is more aggressive this year. It's not bad, if you play it right. Let their aggressiveness do a lot of work for you. For instance, on the USA map I took out all the strongholds on left side first, and let the East strongholds destroy each other. The West has way more space to build up your army, and by the time you are ready to go after the Central and the East, every game is easy. I finished the USA map in 34 turns, and had over 123 re-enforcements in my last re-enforce refill.
