This might be a dumb question but can equipment, perks, badges. skins, gear, sponsors, etc be put on any Diamond Dynasty player or just your created player, and what do they do. This is my first year playing and I have no clue what they do.

it depends on what the item is but something like a bat skin can be applied to your entire teams bat, but individual items like gloves and perks can only be applied to your ballplayer and once applied they will boost his stats. welcome to the show!

Like in showdown I got badges that helped with contact how do I put that on my DD team or I got others like bat tape that was +5 contact can I put that on like anyone or just my player this is confusing me haha I’ve been just selling all these to the market because I made 9K off the bat tape one

You can not put the items on any other player except your player. Perks from showdown draft are just for there.
