Ball player and DD player discrepancies

Anyone have their ballplayer setup but the name and look of the character in DD is still Joe Random? Also, every time I start up the game I get a Ball Player Conflict error. I choose the non-Joe Random character, but it doesn't seem to do any good. Everything in DD is still named Joe Random with the generic look. Aren't they supposed to be the same player?

Have you tried to go to top right and see if create a player option is still available? Next to the gear forget name of it. I think it's a pen and labeled create i think?

If option is there you can change name and few other things. If it's not there i would say wait patiently for patch and see then.
