If they replaced moments with showdown and only have online missions, ..... that's a [censored] move. There needs to be more ways for offline to get points other than playing CPU for 80 percent of the points. If moments are added like last year, then nevermind. I apologize for complaining.

I'm not playing DD this year, just Franchise and RTTS, but from what I understand they are releasing content in stages for the program, so there will be more ways to earn program stars as time goes on.

Yeah I really hope the put moments back on the inning programs. Showdown is a neat concept although fairly difficult. And while that difficulty is on par with individual moments, at least they aren't all or nothing.

Yeah. It's the all or nothing that sucks.

I hope you're right. Otherwise this will probably be short year for me.

I guess we're going to get a lot more player programs, which is good but not nearly enough to make the 1000 start remotely possible. With the lack of moments in the game I am speculating that SDS was planning on making topps now moments earn program points.

Anyway, I'm at 213 program points right now after collecting all the legends (now is the right time to do it; they're not going to get any cheaper than 10000 stubs) but haven't finished the showdown and granderson program yet. So getting to the bosses should be relatively easy.

It’s setup so that most players reach 300 before the end, the rest is gravy and/or incentives to keep people playing. It rewards the hardcore or people that have more time to play. If I was still a teenager with loads of time I’d probably reach them all, but I have a job and family, so I can’t (I would but then a lawyer would get involved, so...)

I get that, but it won't be easy getting to 300 without spending real money. I already do that. I don't need ANOTHER reason to do it. I just want last year's format again. Quit requiring more money.

Money? I completed the 1st Inning Showdown on my second try. The divisions are 1000 stubs, but Innings is 500 and you make it back not even halfway through. Pick one SP, one RP/CP and the rest mashers. Take 2 strikes or losing contact boost perks and you’re ready to go.

Yeah. I've tried showdown several times and failed. The all or nothing sucks.
