I honestly throw on some orders and play a game of Conquest. Then I deal with the completed transactions. I try to keep it to 3 or 4 orders. You can sort the market pretty easily to find the card you are working on.

I thought you could collect the through team affinity?
There are 10 Legends in the 42 series that only come from the preorder packs. Each MLB team has a player. You get 2 cards as collection rewards, which brings the total cards you need for 99 Jackie to 42.

Pretty much the most market work I’ll do myself. List/QS multiples I draw and play the long game.

I spend so much time early on playing Showdown and MTO, that I don't even need a good team. I haven't collected the legend 42s yet, so I will probably sell them tomorrow and try for a Trout.

As of right now these cards are expensive but I think just wait awhile and there price will start dropping. I figgure these cards might be in conquest maps all year. Last years version of the preorder packs went down to 5k and they were also expensive when first dropped (15/20k i believe) and i expect the same to happen to these.

Sure.. once the packs are available to anyone, the price will drop. There are just a finite number right now which is causing them to gain value.

Exactly, but that won't be until at least the 2nd inning. Another reason these are more expensive than years past is because of the Jackie collection. They rose today and this week then drop once the conquest packs start rolling in

Ya SDS wants those cards available to new players on launch night, not the second inning. Lots of “investors” are about to learn their first lesson. Expect the unexpected.

The difference this year is the xp path is included with the inning program. The preorder diamonds were part of the xp rewards path last year. We will see how they will be release to gain without paying for them.

Yeah but they weren't all that early in the XP path IIRC. I expect to see them in the 2nd inning + conquest map personally

They were there to see, I you just had to buy them or wait until you got them. The inning collects were available to still get rewards the whole years just not with XP once the new inning came out. With that being said I think it will be the same this year that we can still collect the 8 42 cards for a 1st inning reward after inning 2 comes out. We will see.

You can grind for them with team affinty. Just do showdown a bunch.

Exactly what I was thinking... I am a little uninterested in what has been provided mostly this year
I am NMS and I have all the 42 Legends, deGrom, Bellinger, and Arenado. I haven't pulled any diamonds from Show packs either.
How is that possible? Good for u

As of now. My statement is true. I don't see them giving out more packs until the 2nd inning. Anyone just getting the game tonight does not have the packs. No more supply is added until SDS puts the packs elsewhere
The packs come from buying the Jackie Robinson editions. People can still buy those editions. There will be a flood of them on the market this week. Prices will go down initially and rise again as the new people pivot to collect them.

It’s literally designed this way for a reason. It’s a trap to get dummies to pay for content they don’t need to finish the program.
SDS isn’t stupid. They could have very easily put out the Eric Davis program with whatever XP amount and the first inning showdown with whatever XP in early access, instead they have people thinking they need to collect 200k worth of players to complete the first inning when soon, the game will actually be released along with more missions. Then the next week the same and the next week.

I dont think there going to be as cheap and frequently in packs as last year because they are also tied to a 99 overall collection this year. Much like people thought HRDs would drop last year SDS had a plan for them to stay higher with the Trout Program. Jackie should keep these things quite high for quite a while. Maybe one per program, which would make sense because I think they’ll have a show classics and other new things every program as well.

No, no you can't. The 42s that are being talked about, are the pre-order ones. None of them are in the TAs.
