Did anyone else not get their preorder Friday??

I purchased and preordered the Jackie Robinson Deluxe Edition from Walmart several months ago with Walmart's site guaranteeing delivery on Friday 4/16. Halfway through Friday, Fedex updates the arrival date to show it will now arrive on Monday. WTF? Called Fedex right away as I noticed the last scan was in a city near me less than an hour a way. I was willing to go pick it up of course instead of waiting til Monday. The whole point of the preorder was for the Early Access. Fedex guy told me he would send that Fedex center a message to call me so that they could either deliver Saturday or I could go pick up. Halfway through Saturday, no call. I called again. This guy now tells me, "I don't know why that guy would have told you that, they never even work on the weekends." #@$!% I was pissed, so I asked how I can make a complaint or take some sort of survey. He said if I took the survey it would reflect on him and he didn't make the mistake. I asked how I could make an overall complaint and he quickly transferred me to tech support so they can guide me through their website. But I knew it was just to get me off of his call so I didn't leave a bad survey on him. So then, I call Walmart. They tell me, yeah, the order will be delivered Monday, like its no big deal its 3 days later. Btw, I took the weekend off to immerse myself in this game ASAP. Walmart offered 5% back. $4 and some change. So at this point, I'm still waiting, and pissed thinking about it. Grrr!! WTF!

don't feel bad...even if you had the game it's having all kinds of problems

yeah if u bought the Jackie Robinson Deluxe Edition, there's a large chance that the game will just load the ps4 version with all the Jackie Robinson entitlements but the ps5 game will not be included. I looked everywhere, there's no other code or place on my ps5 smh...I don't know how SDS will fix this either. On the bright side you'll still be able to play but not the ps5 version.

Yeah, I purchased the JR $99, early access addition from GameStop... paid the extra shipping to have it delivered on the 16th. The game was shipped out Thursday night via FedEx just outside Cincinnati. I live right outside Chicago, the timing would have been perfect for the Friday afternoon delivery window I was given by FedEx. The shipment was moving perfectly through the night, scans were made on time and then all of a sudden it stalls out in the system “in transit to Chicago”, read that way for 16 hours. To make a long story short, after several phone calls to FedEx and GameStop, 2 more stall-outs enroute...it is now Monday morning and I still don’t have it. FedEx site states it’s now finally out on a truck, “out for delivery”. At one point it arrived at the Chicago hub and sat there for over 14 hours. This shipment was FedEx Home Delivery service which meant it is serviced all weekend long. I drive a semi for UPS, I know logistically how these things move through the system, someone was lazy and dropped the ball on this one.
Anyway, I”ve learned my lesson...for the last 12 years of playing this game, I’ve gone to the store and pre-ordered, then picked it up on early release day. I will no longer order this online and have it shipped.

My preordered copy is scheduled for delivery on Thursday. I purchased through Target.com that stated April 16tth and when I called Target.com to inquire they blamed it on the SDS's fulfillment center, so I email SDS and they blamed it on Target.com. I assume someone will organize a class action lawsuit over this as this has been a common occurrence. There is absolutely no reason to buy the early access if the game doesn't ship on time, the other goodies are not worth the price.

I did not myself. I gave up and luckily my local Gamestop is allowing me to return it and pick up the Ps5 version tomorrow
