First impression..21 on PS4

Experiencing choppy play and slow actions in menus. Opening packs is slow and painful. While batting the pci stutters while moving. What are others experiencing on PS4?
Not a fan of the menu options, time consuming and hard to find what you are looking for. Seems like a step backwards from 20. For releasing a game later in than usual, think SDs could have executed better on some things. But maybe they needed to do some thing due to cross platform play.
Overall first impression is give me my money back. Should have taken the time and improved 20 as it had a good platform. Just minor game play issues. I really enjoyed 20. Hopefully they can improve 21, but the visual excitement just isn't there for me.
But I'll suck it up and continue to play because I have nothing better to do with my free time!

It's pretty bad, i would definitely give it a pass on ps4

I have the exact opposite to say. The game is much smoother across all game types, including online play. Hitting and pitching is much more consistent, and visually, the game is cleaner than 20. The pack animation is slower, but that's not a PS4 issue, that's an artistic decision (it's supposed to be that way). It's the same on all platforms regardless of the generation of your machine.
I'm on a base PS4 that I got the day ps4 launched. Great job to SDS, the improvements are vast and noticeable!

Mines been very Smooth. Regular PS4 even. Not a Pro. Yes Menus are a bit cluttered but you get used to them. Flew through my Pack Openings.

Regular Ps4 here and haven't been having any real issues. Obviously there are always things that can be complained about if I wanted to nit pick but so far I'm pretty happy myself. Especially with the new player upgrade program, that was a big win.

I am also on a regular PS4. Thanks for the feedback! That is what I was looking for, what other PS4 users were experiencing. Maybe I had a bad connection or something, which I never experienced with 20 from the start. I am hoping for good things with 21!

So far no issues with me on ps4. My first impression about the check swing cheese is sds did an outstanding job on fixing this and hope they don't nerf it in the future.

agreed. Check swing still works as long as you are trying to check swing for timing sake. I haven't had a game where someone check swings a million times and gets away with it!

It was choppy for me until the full game downloaded, once that happened it’s been smooth as silk. Was really worried there for a second.

I’ve found the major league parks I’ve played in were much choppier than last yr. minor league parks have been fine for me.

My guess is the PCI stutter is stick drift. I had that before. Changed controller and was fine.

I am also playing with my HDR game mode on.

I am also playing with my HDR game mode on.
I tried HDR on and HDR off, was similar both ways. I will try again later and see.
