‘Resume activity’ from the PS5 activity hub quits your game

Whatever you do, don’t choose ‘resume activity’ from the PS5’s activity hub (the one that comes up when you press the PS button and shows trophies and game news) in the middle of a game.
Just did this in the middle of a Franchise game with the extra innings replace runner for pitcher prompt and it took me back to the franchise menu, loading the previous save. All game progress lost.
Same happened in an MTO game, lost progress in opening day game. This could actually be a way to exploit it for rewards if it doesn’t penalise you.

Didn’t really bother me at the time I was just doing random stuff in the game to check things out. Just wanting to forewarn everyone. Was really easy to do so it could mess somebody’s game up for real.
